Changing your account Email

    For those of you, who don't know, how acc Email changes work:

    • if you want to change your email adress for the launcher, you have to write a ticket
    • the answer to that ticket will tell you, that you have to get a 7 day ban for security reasons

    I just want to know if sth. changed with new launcher system now...

    I personally think this system is retarded and just forces people to stay on outdated email adresses because...how wants to get a 7 day ban?


    If not done yet, pls change the system to sth. more intelligent.

    For example:

    • people have to make a ticket with old and new Email
    • tell people that the process takes 30 days for security reason
    • people can play during that time and gf sends an Email weekly, that their Email adress will be changed at that specific date
    • if the time has come the change can be done at the morning by the support (when people go to school/ work/uni)
    • Happyness?

    I actually wanted to change my email but I never looked for it and I didn't know about 7-days ban. I agree with you, no one wants to get banned for 7 days.

    For every process like this, there are good reasons behind it. We obviously don't block account for 7 days without a very good reason. We trust our support with deciding what the best procedures are to secure your accounts :)
