Rollback

  • So you think that during the current 2 hours maintenance, it's someone frome bluehole that's gonna come and solve it ? and that Gameforge don't need to check if patches work correctly before applying them ?

GF did only their own job (to publish some news that come from BlueHole), so the maincore of fault lies deep within BlueHole. Nothin more... GF just only a publisher

  • Well, in my work, i have to check if my supplier did his job wrong before using the parts he sent, cause if i send a piece of crap to my client, the client won't care if the one at fault is my supplier, cause my client buys from ME.

And if my supplier sent me a piece of crap, i don't use it.

GF has testing to do, they are not here just to apply patch and say "it's BH fault"

  • I would suggest the publisher is making adjustments to game variables to either benefit themselves or compensate and aid the player. They can create an incentive to play depending on current demand for the game. I am sure they have a whole raft of variables they can tinker with. This maintenance was a way of compensating players with XP whilst at the same time initiating a couple of minor issues to the game. My understanding is that one of the mechs rewarding players was in fact taking XP away... and for that THE WHOLE player base, whether they were involved in dungeons/and or reward issue or not are going to be PENALISED. And the reason for that is POOR implementation of game variables which I would guess were adjusted by the publisher.

This afternoon I completed the whole of the Tria and Tralion post Apex story line and was just congratulating myself on getting to a stage where I can start the actual daily quests. And then this broke. I had not been involved in any of the events and yet I now have to start over and I have no idea if it is likely or not to happen again. And why... cus the Publisher is currently dealing with the matter not the designer. And its the weekend.

Two weeks ago an issue was flagged involved a failed event. Nothing was said until after the weekend. The whole player base were left stranded without even a word from anyone. And with everything else that has happened including the extended downtimes and loss of game time it really looks to me like a Publisher issue if only for the poor way matters are being conveyed to their users.

And one final thing. Maybe minor, but not as I pay for it, but my club mount was broken for months earlier this year and finally they fixed it. And now its broken again. I was doing my Apex run which was an instance and stuggled and killed the five dragons. And then fired up the mount.... BUSTED. So without thinking I relogged as I always do to find the instance reset. I had to start over. My fault I know but that is what I have to do just to start playing this game now. Log in and then immediately log out... just to use the mount. So when will that get fixed.... Months I guess. Never mind.

  • this weekend COULD have been one of the best weekends in tera, now it's just the worst.

Gf how about you turn the event on during the week, test it and leave it on for a few days.
