XP event was meant to be whole weekend, but ended in 1 hour

  • Hello everyone, the rollback did not happen only because of the EXP problem, as there were also critical issues that could lead in characters being permanently locked - along with the pet fusion issue.

    We are aware that the situation is difficult, but a rollback was the move that had to be done.


    About the event, it will be activated again.

    When I read the warning about the 2.1B i explained the over/underrun thing to another guy. I mentioned: it could be worse - normally you get negative values, when a signed variable runs over... and they somehow managed to zeroize negative values...

    ...and now it is worse :D

  • Well, the easy solution for the XP is....... change the values ? just divide the necessary xp by 10, and the xp given by 10 and no one will reach 2.1B. They went full stupid on XP numbers with level 65 patch, just change that.

    If i remember correctly back then you needed something like 171 milions from 59 to 60, and then patch for level 65 and you need 1.something BILLION for 60 to 61... and now we're here.

  • You know how to avoid XP/Level loss? Using uint (unsigned integer) instead of int (signed integer) for XP gain :D

    That would also double the maximum XP we can get at once (4.2billion instead of 2.1)
