Why are extreme dungeons so cancer?

  • What is the point of this if we can't clear it with LFG group, or do you seriously think we all have statics? People work, study, sleep, have hobbies etc... do you think we can find 10 man statics for these powered up extreme modes? Kelsaik 10 is essentially KN20 with 10 people that can't be pugged because every time you bring a new person in the raid they inevitably die to fire (why is this one shot suddenly??) and then soldier spawns and the chain of disaster begins....


    Just idk, where is the fun in this? Even Rift's edge hard, it's clearable with pug but so damn cancer, not enjoyable... and normal modes are too easy, can't you just give us a hard mode that +3 HO group can clear via LFG... or is that too much to ask.


    Also before you guys jump in to defend gameforge, yes I'm happy they put effort into this but there is a very fine line between challenging/fun and just pure unenjoyable cancer mechs.


    And did any healers notice, it's impossible to buff entire party because bosses are so big and everything is too spread out? I have to pick between tank/melee and ranged dps for buffs in RE because this was made to be a raid way before apex so obviously not balanced for 5man apex priest/mystic buffs.

    Just learn how to dodge it?
    Its happen on fixed % and every 90sec iirc

    Don't be sad just because u're to bad for some dungeon
    get a party and learn together

    the hardest part here gonna be to get a party :^)

  • I wasn't even talking about myself... I said every new person you bring in keeps dying to it. Most people won't even keep trying after 3 wipes so you have to keep bringing new people in the group and then the problem keeps recurring.

  • kay extreme shouldnt be for everyone. They arent "normal" hardmodes. So i don`t see your problem?

    I tried so hard, and got so far... but in the end, it doesn't even matter...

  • Oh man what did ppl do when manayas core was released and they tried months to clear it. Now ppl cry after the first day. Modern generation sucks

    Tell me any dungeon that needed longer than a week to be cleared since manayas core?

  • Extreme Mode Dungeon are only additional Content without any impactful special rewards. All gear material can be obtained with the intended Content ( Ring and Earrings Materials in GVHM, Necklace and Circelt in DFHM)


    Well Tower have trade chest but who cares for gold anyways in 2019.



    Anyway it's true that some EM are "cancer" ....not due to dificulty. Its stupid to have some bosses jumping around for like 30 sec doing mechanic stuff forcing (mostly melee) dps to do nothing. < Not a nice thing in a "action combat game)

    Kraxler I think it's fine to have again some boss with mechanics preventing to dps, unlike current trends where people cry if you make them unable to dps the boss for more than 4 seconds ("muh dps" right).

  • pretty sure AAHM needed around a week to be cracked on killian, after that HW was full of abyss raiders

    AAH took around 3h to clear lol


    only SC, HH30, and Mch took more than 1 week
    (hh20 around 6 days iirc)
    (Bahaar 2 Day/Tower S4 5 days)
