About SERVER Merge FAQ

What about people from Seren and Yurian. Will they keep their Advancement Points? Even if we decide to transfer in the future?

I´m curious what about PVE Rankings. Will they also end at 21.08?

was expecting some extra free character slots like how other publishers handled their merges, but noooo with Gameforge you sadly have to buy them yourself...

Excuse me? I'm not even going to be nice about this. I literally made a forum account just to complain about this blatant robbery, that's how severe this is.

So, care to explain why the hell are people going to lose two slots/characters for apparently no reason? I mean, the limit has been expanded to 22, why would you randomly lower it to 20? Are you even serious? I personally will lose two characters with at least 200,000g+ of worth in gear and costumes in each, not to mention the characters themselves. Is this like, a joke to you? Furthermore, what about the people in Yurian and Seren? Since they are unaffected by this merge, will they just keep slots 21 and 22 while we lose them?

I honestly can't understand why do you do so many wrong things GF/BHS, but up until now I remained silent. However, downright stealing two characters just like that... I am done, just done. I was actually already done since many patches ago with the perpetual downhill updates ruining the game more and more, but when you get robbed so aggressively without any plausible logic or explanation...

This would be where I'd "demand" for a change in the procedure or ask for some sort of compensation for the unexpected losses, but why should I? Nothing will change, lurking the forums for over a year has made me realize it so easily and crystalline clear.

Well done developer/publisher, you've successfully enraged yet another portion of whatever community still exists in the game.

Yeah what's with this BS? I have 22 characters on mystel and now I have to delete for WHAT reason exactly ? and who gonna pay the cost for the lost items?

Still I think this is "may be" just an error as they pretty much copied - pasted the server merge FAQ from the other times - and they "may" just forget to update it to the current maximum number of character slots.

Still someone from Gameforge should confirm this is an error.

Not to mention releasing the Faq 2 whole days before the merge... 2 whole days never mind it's summer and people may have better things to do, you get 2 days to prepare and if you're on vacation GG rip - usual Gameforge's incompetence.

Yeah, a total nonsense response.

After the third response from support I contacted they seem like they updated the Faq to 22 characters...

Not to mention the awkward Guild Name policy when lots of active big guilds will lose their names to long-abandoned lvl-1 guilds with no active players...

Another issue that they didn't mention on the faq that has always been plagued every server merge is items in your bank - Prepare yourself especially if you have 8 bank tabs full of stuff - after the server merge your items in bank will be re-arranged in seemingly random order - this will not affect guild bank or your inventory pets so, it may be wise to move your stuff from bank to your inventory pets or characters inventory if you don't wanna see a total mess when you return after the merge.

This has been happened constantly after every server merge - yet after all these years Gameforge STILL doesn't include this information on their copy-paste server Faqs.

Oh wow... Well that's a relief, at least. They should really proof-read their stuff more thoroughly though, it's not like it's even difficult to not notice a bold sentence near the start of the post...

Hello everyone,

this was a typo error, the text is now showing the correct number (22 characters) in all news, thank you for the report.

Also, the PvP and PvE seasons for Killian and Mystel will end on 21/8. A new season will start after the merge for these servers.

The only server running in Ktera is a PVP server, why can't we have the same here? and wouldn't it be wise to just merge all the servers to just one so you don't have to do this all over again?

The German and french server will completely die and will ask for a merge as well, they wouldn't care about the language because there will only be 15 people playing in each server

ktera havent had a pvp server with pk for like 2 years now

they doing a great job in getting ppl even more upset then they already are :^)

Ktera has been PvP servers since their debut. they never had "PvE" server. That abomination was created by GF.
