About 2.0s

  • Can't wait to see how mount crit passives will be retardedly OP and unbalanced when we will get the new gears without crit power crystals. It's going to be insanely bonker.

Right now a DPS class goes from 8.14 crit power multiplier (dpsing an enraged monster from behind) to 10.14 crit power when 2.0 passive proc. Means a damage increase of roughtly 25%

With new gear system you will only have base crit power and nostrum as crit power.

So a DPS class will go from 3.42 crit power multiplier (dpsing an enraged monster from behind) to 5.42 crit power when 2.0 passive proc. Means a damage increase of roughtly 58%

    XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Mount passive is already broken, but they are about to became 2.5 times even more broken P2W shit

    Nice meme inc.

Well, I guess it will make more people cash shop for their 2.0s, so the goal is kinda acheived right ? more money bois, gotta milk dem players.

  • Oi wake up

this is still very much a problem.

these things are reaching prices ranging from 4 to 7 million(as of 30/9/2019) and its very likely it will keep going up without a proper ingame source limitng prices.

  • Can just add tears to the river. After opening 100boxes 0 perma 2.0. Just three 7day ones.

Worst part of it was finding out how crappy is the rest of the loot from it. You get Metamorphic emblems and veteran dye, along with few VG credits. If it dropped CA pots, mementos, etc. OK still gamble but at least decent fail outcome.

This rng and partners rng are historicaly the biggest scam in the games history. There is no worse casino.

I tried to get +40 power pet quite a few times but never got better than +19.

Even if you use Superior lvl10 partner as food for increasing fellowship - you can get less fellowship than feeding it with Green lvl1 partner.

Given you make 10 superior lvl10 partners as promotion food - you can have worse result than using Green lvl1 AND ofc not geeting even 20 power.

If i didnt liked this game so much I would withdraw all my money back and let them delete my account.

  • I can enjoy the 2.0 gambling... its expensive, but you can work with it... The Partners are just stupid... Even with spending hundreds of euros, you wont be able to have a really good partner

I tried so hard, and got so far... but in the end, it doesn't even matter...

  • I mean, i knew that, but its still a pain in the ass. Maaaybe we can get the new partners way easier to max?

Thanks for the salt riplex :c

no its not workable same reason the pets are stupid you arguably end up spending way more if you gamble in this mess

2.0 is required at some point for every pve player if they want ot hit BiS, and its gonna be especially important after this new gear patch hits since overall crit power is gonna be lower, these activations will matter a lot more.

other regions have more stable sources for them evne if they are shop exclusive, by just being flat out able ot buy the mount hard capping how expensive it can be(basically linking their maxp ossible price ot the current ratio).

what Eu has right now for these is a utter joke and the ppl buying into the gamlbing are not helping change this.people arent asknig for much, just a means of earning the basic 2.0 from an ingame source(a PERMANENT SOURCE), you can keep the other special mounts shop/event exclusive for all they care ppl will buy inot those regardless. We just need a stable supply ot limit how expensive these mounts can be.

ifyou or anyone says they are okay with the gambling in this, either you already have the mount, or your one of the people profiting from the uncontrolled prices in the very few mounts/RNg boxes in the broker.

  • I mean, yea, i have it. Opened around 200 to 300 boxes over the years. I would rather go for that again, than for partners

I tried so hard, and got so far... but in the end, it doesn't even matter...

  • As a matter of fact, acquiring a 2.0 via TT is nothing but mere gambling.

Hopefully, they'll get banned in the EU pretty soon. I'd rather pay a set price of TT than playing this stupid gambling game.

  • Here are my proposals for a solution, each of them could be applied individually or in combination.

    1) Improve the gambling we already have

My idea would be to apply a similar system that we have for the Dragonwing Scales. E.g. make the 2.0 lootboxes drop milestone items. This could be done in different ways and would have the effect of a more consistent supply of 2.0 mounts. The options would be 1.1) make the milestones items -I'll call them Dragontail Scales- have a certain drop rate (approximately mount drop chance times 10). You'll need to combine 10 of them into a 2.0 dragon- skillbook or 1.2) make Dragontail Scales a guaranteed drop and have us combine a certain number into one mount. In addition to that, people who are lucky can still draw the mount out of the boxes directly.

    2) Create other sources than gambling

The most pleasant solution would probably be to make dungeons a source of it. While I agree here, I don't think a flat drop is a good way. This likely is the only topic where the community is able to work together and powerfarm it for everyone and their mother, negating a big part of the shop's income and thus the game's budget. Some might say you need to be careful with dropchance if you make it a flat drop, but just don't.

However the Dragonwing Scale system could prove a prime example here as well. We recently got updates which improved the dungeon difficulty rating. Use that. Make Dragontail Scales be a vanguard reward in endgame dungeons (4* = 1, 5* =2) which might change each patch, and keep the lower dungeons for Dragonwing Scales. Make PvP also a source. Use CS for that since it's the most time consuming battleground and the leaderboard rewards for each season.

Make us then combine a high amount of Dragontail Scales into a 2.0 dragon- skillbook.

    3) Keep gambling and let everyone gamble

Make 2.0 boxes from the shop available ingame in a controlled amount, so everyone has a chance to gamble for the 2.0 mount. I'll use the Star Trace event as an example for this.

There are 3 different ways to utilize the Star Trace event -let alone other time limited events. First would be 3.1) to give out a small amount of 2.0 boxes for players each weekend for a specific log-in time in the lower row (e.g. 10 hours). The second option 3.2) is to incorporate either 2.0 boxes or a 2.0 dragon- skillbook in the Small Comet shop- let us either be able to regularly buy 2.0 boxes for our comets or make us able to trade a high amount of Small Comets for a 2.0 dragon- skillbook. As a third option 3.3) you could add 2.0 boxes to the Open Secret and Dark Secret loot table. Make us able to get -by a low chance- a small amount of 2.0 boxes from the Open Secret, and a slightly higher amount from the Dark Secret.

    4) Put them on sale during a limited time

As a last option you could resort to the same system you use for almost all of the good costumes and accesoires- make the item become a direct purchase during a limited time.

Let us buy 2.0 mounts directly from the shop for a few days once every season*.

    * patch/ time of year/ event time

  • my take on this would be:

just make the vanilla 2.0 wyverns(armored and red dragons) available from the dragonscale shop, at a much inflated cost(minimum 2k scales i'd say), keep the other kinds of 2.0's shop/event exclusive if you need to, all ppl want is a even playing field for access to that passive and it gives somethnig for players ot work towards boosting their playtime in the long run in their pursuit of BiS.

if this is not an option just allow us to buy the mount straight up from the shop(price up for debate), no gamblnig involved, while this isnt ideal since it wouldnt fix the inherent issue(these things still being pretty much a p2w item), but it would impose a cap on how expensive these mounts can actually be thru trading since they would be bound by the TT :gold ratio, there is only so much you can push a price until ppl just go " okay f it ill just buy it off the shop"

    on the other Hand;

DO NOT MAKE ANY FUTURE INGAME SOURCE ONLY TEMPORARY(stuff like Ds or event instances), this will f up their prices even further and create a very toxic secondary market.

NO SOLO EVENTS: this will be too much for mostp layers since you'd make these events mandatory

  • I`m still wondering, how people rage about 2.0`s, but not about the partner system xd

I tried so hard, and got so far... but in the end, it doesn't even matter...

  • I`m still wondering, how people rage about 2.0`s, but not about the partner system xd

The comet event at weekends gives you a chance every 2 week or so, to obtain useless pets and by combining them you have THE CHANCE, to get that 40 power on partners, while for 2.0, you either P2W or buy in TB for a ridiculous amount of gold, IF there's any listed.

Codes give you pets too sometimes ^^

  • you need 91 partners,à 20 pet-tokens. You need to wait like 5 years with all events. After you got this, you need to repeat this for like 200 times, to get a 40 power partner.

Guess thats really easy to do... opening 2.0 boxes for 60k is insanely hard :)

I tried so hard, and got so far... but in the end, it doesn't even matter...

  • I'm guessing less than 5% has a 2.0 mount. This has been an issue for years now. The only way to get it, was to farm the recent DS, which several people did. Or you can buy p2w boxes for an insane amount of money, to get the 2.0 - or at least a chance for it.

The pet system is just as dumb, even more rng involved and just as much p2w, the reason this issue hasn't been addressed as much, is because it's new, I'm guessing. Although both players like Assa and me have made several posts about this shitty system.

Wtb no downgrades on gear, tyvm.

  • I`m still wondering, how people rage about 2.0`s, but not about the partner system xd

That's because you need like 5 line code to get 40 power easily :')

    Real reason:

2.0 drag gonna be op as soon the new patch hit eu

The difference between 18 power pet and 25 power (is there even someone with legit 30+ pet) is by far not that high

    OwO what is this... :'3

  • So here is a little math: Lets assume that the rolling of fellowship is a uniform distribution. So every roll from 1-6 has equal chance. More over we want a +40 power pet so we have to roll at least 49 fellowship (because every partner starts with 1 fellowship). We are only interested about lvl 10 partner the order of number sequence doesnt matter. To get a lvl 10 partner we have to roll 9 times so we have 10077696 unordered Sequences and by fast combinatorics we get a number of (6–1+9)! / (9!·(6–1)!)=2002 sequences which lead to a 49+ fellowship roll. So to sum things about: The best case scenario leads us to a chance of 2002/10077696=0,0198% to get a +40 power partner (with huge variance). I think chances to get a 2.0 mount are a way more better :^)

  • Chances of getting a 2.0 mount are sure higher than getting a 40 power pet; however, since there will be new pets ingame providing magical or physical amplifying, I don't see a point in further comparing 2.0 mounts to pets. Furthermore, those two things are barely comparable imo: as for damage amplifying mounts, you either have a 1.5 or a 2.0 and that's it. As for pets - and I'm sure we'll agree on that - you'd be satisfied with a pet giving anything above 30 to 35 power. At least, that's what I'd be satisfied with.

Indeed, with the upcoming patch and less crit multiplier (correct me if I'm wrong), 2.0 mounts become even more valuable.

I still can't think of any solid reason why they wouldn't make it so that players can buy a 2.0 mount directly from the shop. I am pretty sure that a vast amount of players who don't even think about getting a 2.0 mount yet would consider buying one.

Unfortunately, discourses like this one have never been about how to please your customer, but how to maximise profit - and that's undoubtedly fine for a company. However, don't be surprised if those customers turn their backs on you then.

PS/tl;dr: still waiting for loot/surprise boxes and the wheel of fortune to finally get banned.
