Happy Birthday TERA! Back on 3rd May 2012, TERA was released in Europe. And as time waits for no BAM, today we’re celebrating its 7th anniversary!
In honor of the occasion, the birthday month of May is traditionally packed with tons of great events. Look out for the big anniversary hunt, a fresh bout of Bamarama, ice fishing, daily gifts and loads more. Monsters are running rampage! Hunt down big blue crates and gold beetles in the open world to pick up amazing loot! A single blow is enough to fell the beasts, so your level is irrelevant.
Every enemy will drop loot for you, including:
Vanity items such as:
- the exclusively available Capri Blue General’s Dress Uniform
- the pet Truffles with the ability to auto-collect gold
Consumables such as:
- Goldfinger Tokens
- Elleon’s Mark of Valor
- Lein’s Dark Root Beer
Other valuable items such as:
- Skill Advancement Scroll I
- Skill Optimization Scroll I

Rootstock and Bamarama

Once more the time has come for Rootstock, the Pond Faire and Bamarama, with plenty of fun and frolics for heroes. Concoct booster meals and take part in the popular gambling games.
Which BAM will reign victorious? Back the right monster and you can win some spectacular prizes:
- Place your bets every day between 6 PM and 10 PM – special bouts take place on the hour and at half past the hour!
- Win between 100 and 300,000 Gold
- For each regular bout won, you’ll get your hands on a Winning Ticket Stub Put these stubs together to make Winning Tickets which you can exchange for more prizes
- For each special bout won, you’ll receive an Event Rewards Box which contains a Winning Ticket plus a random reward
- Winning Tickets can be exchanged for an exclusive anniversary item
Ice Fishing
Start: 30th April 2019 at 9:00 AM
End: 21st May 2019 at 9:00 AM
Wrap up warm – it’s time to go ice fishing! During the event you’ll receive some special bait sent to you every day. Use this to go fishing in the frozen lake of Frost Reach and land some great rewards. The tokens you loot there can be exchanged for a variety of different prizes, such as the exclusive Ultramarine Midnight Princess’ Hanbok or a smart box containing a Shearling Jacket.
The event items will be removed at the end of the event:
- The special bait will be removed at 9:00 AM on 21st May
Doubled PvP Jackpots
Start: 30th April 2019 at 9:00 AM
End: 21st May 2019 at 9:00 AM
Claim victory on the battleground! During the event period you’ll receive twice the number of reward chests from the jackpot event. The schedule for jackpots remains unchanged.
Plus from patch 81 the rewards chests will be filled with more and better contents!
Daily Gifts
Start: 30th April 2019 at 9:00 AM
End: 28th May 2019 at 9:00 AM
Log in every day during the event period, open the TERA Shop and collect your gift from the calendar! Among other things you can get your hands on permanent decorations, consumables and more.
If you don’t manage to collect your item one day, it isn’t forfeit – simply collect it the following day. As long as the calendar is active, you can catch up on those few days you missed. Skip too many days, however, and you might not have time to pick up those final items. Open the calendar every day to make sure you don’t miss out!

Every weekend in May you’ll receive the usual Astral Gifts for your online playing time. The rewards in the gifts are higher than normal in honor of the anniversary – and for the final level you’ll also get an exclusive back decoration!
