"We won't remove dungeons anymore" - Bluehole

  • Dude we already have too much Dungeon. It's already annoying finding VG Quest. If they don't remove them we will have 40 Level 65 Dungeon ... 10 Progression Dungeon between level 65 - 69 and maybe in the future many lvl 70 Dungeon.


    It's too much. And no one really no one cares for TRHM and other dungeons.

    Yeah right, 40 dungeons is " too much" for a game that's been out for that long.

    I wish the game's biggest issue was to have to search for longer for vanguard quests.


    It's not about certain dungeons being good or bad, but about having options and having variety. It's insane how easily even good dungeons can feel limited, grindy, or straight boring when there's not many other things to do.


    I get it that some dungeons get way too easy as players progress with gear (as new patches come out), so they need to be updated. But that's also clear that changing a few HP and damage variables, or even the drop table of 2-3 bosses wont take a year, and could be applied with the next patch right away. No need to remove dungeons for that.

    If it's that annoying to just find some VG quest in the endless sea of who-knows-how-many-quests-we-got-now, there are many things you wouldn't want to see, seriously.

    While it's true Lv 65 is nowhere near endgame anymore, it's rather bad to let these dungeons go especially since some of them are rather unque (ie. BP before Lancers started to cheese the instance). It's primarily a loss of options.

  • I think it would be totally acceptable if they removed dungeons that don't fit to the current equipment standards anymore and bring back other older dungeons like Bathysmal Rise, Forsaken Island etc. with balanced difficulty - or even introduce new HMs for Broken Prison, Channelworks etc. with new mechanics and SkillEXP or II-Amplififer so they don't die like every other dungeon.


    Most of the dungeons are way to unrewarding and many people stop doing them if they don't need the loot, so there should be some reward that is needed in general and motivates the players. My current routine only contains Gossamer Vault (Parquina's Nest, why you have to get a different name?) and i would be happy do to something else dungeon-wise to get SkillEXP.
