Oh. Its a problematic error. The file pgc_v2.version located in your client directory has become corrupt. Unless you have a backup of that file (so you can replace it) you need to re-install the game again. I had it not so long ago and many other players as well in the past months/years. The only solution i found was to re-install the whole game. Since then, i always do a copy of that file when a patch comes in just in case.
And btw, the "repair" option in the launcher, unfortunately does not solve the problem so dont bother with it..

So i already repaired it 2 times and now the Play button works. But It shut downs after the "TERA" screen.
Can't i get that pgc_v2.version file from a friend? It used to work like that.

It doesnt work, anymore, unfortunately. I suffered from this three times. I fixed it (still it needed to download and patch something but it was only 5 minutes) the second time deleting files on the client launcher folder and clicking repair.
But it happened again today. This last time nothing seemed to work. And my patience run out. And no. Replacing the pgc version file with another one wont work. Because the problem is not the file itself, but something else.
It made me quit Tera for good. Everytime it happens i need to reinstall the whole game (2 hours). And sadly it was starting to happen to often im afraid. Not willing to play (try) a game with so many issues and a dev team completely willing to ignore em.
