Hey everyone!
Just to briefly let you know that we're aware of the issue, and that it's not something newly introduced with the previous maintenance
Ummm... it clearly is. Many of us had no problems pre-patch (I was happily bombing things on the Isle of Dawn) but post-patch we can't log in. Just to make it absolutely clear, when you launched the classic server I created a new character and went on a happy nostalgia trip to around level 11.
Then GF patched the game. End of nostalgia.
It *is* something introduced with the previous maintenance, obviously.
I know you'll get it fixed but something didn't randomly happen on my PC. The patch happened.IT Support - not a job I'd ever want!

I hope its gonna be fixed today. Otherwise we will all be missing out on the daily rewards ect. Not to mention that we already have no chance to get certain things.

It's so nice be chosen one twice in a row, first with last log in problem and then now. I'm so happy. Can we get any update?

I'm really interested in knowing what's causing all these crashes because there seem to be so many points and scenarios to begin with...
1. People couldn't log in before maintenance and can't login after maintenance.
1.1. People could log in before maintenant, can't login after maintenance.
2. People can't login with their main account, but can login with an alt.
2.2. People can't login with their main account and can't login with a newly registered account.
3. People can login after declaring TERA Classic as an exception in antivirus/as to be started as admin/...
There seem to be so many random things and I'd personally enjoy to know what causes all these problems. :crazy:

Still stuck after the 2 splash screen tera stop to work, since yesterday after the maintenance, the main problem is they don't give 1 single infos about the resolution of this bug just 'we kno we're working on it". COol but ppl like me who didn't get a char are screwed to get some reward like others say. What about the compensation ?

Yeah, I even bought Tera Club for my account, and now I can't access that account, that's unacceptable. Either they fix it soon, or I want to get my refund.........

Welp... Unless the classic server was the only server available, I don't think any of us is entitled to a compensation.
And about the reward: except for those server-first rewards which are fairly absurd, I think we can still get all the rewards announced, can't we?

Just to briefly let you know that we're aware of the issue, and that it's not something newly introduced with the previous maintenance (so we cannot do a roll-back unfortunately).
That being said, it being an account specific issue, we're trying to pin-point the exact cause, and have also contacted the developer to get their expertise to solve it.
We're sorry that a portion of our players are unable to access the Classic Server, and will do our best to let you know once we have a viable solution at hand, though this might not be in the immediate future

Thank you for your continued reports - please also make sure to create a support ticket, so we can gather all the affected accounts to better pin-point the cause of this disturbance!

Well, imo they should just give that reward to all palyers who wasn't able to log in (at all) and submitted a ticket about the issue

Alright, so there's two things I can offer as a solution that worked for me. Prior to the maintenance, I wasn't able to log-in. Someone from the french portion of this forum suggested to delete the subfolders/files located in here: C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Solid State Networks
I can confirm it does no harm to delete these.
The other solution that might help, that came from the german portion of this forum, is a very classical one. Add the Classic server to your Firewall exceptions.
Yes, that simple.I did both, so I'm not sure which solution helped, but it's worth a try. Please report back and tell me if one of these solutions helped or not at all!

You are talking about a different problem. We are all experiencing the same error AFTER the maintenance happened. We could log in before without any problems.
I did try both ur ideas tho but they dont change anything. The game keeps crashing the same way it did before

what if from the very same launcher instance you can log with your s.o. account but you can't log yours?



id say just good shit gameforge good shit
let's make a maint that messes everything up for half the userbase but let's just say its totally not the maint that made errors happen

This entire situation is ridicilous honestly...
It's not fair towards the people who are affected to be denied access to these servers while everyone else is playing them just fine, especially considering the 8 week time limit that's been put on the server. We all have the same amount of progress we need to speed through and the fact that a large percentage of us CAN'T do that because of Gameforge's incompetence is a bit harrowing.
If we'll be denied access for another 24 hours it's better to take the entire server offline until the issue is resolved, otherwise it's just mayor bullshit for those who are affected, being robbed of 2 days where we could've atleast progressed to max level, while other people are playing just fine and can already start gearing.
I'm getting extremely frustrated with Gameforge and honestly if this goes on another day I'm dropping the classic servers entirely, I'm sick of their incompetence ruining my own experience as well as that of others lol -
I have the same problem without any error message. Sent the ticket, waiting. I hope they make it up for us who can't log in.
