Hi, at the moment my friend has a new account with 3 character slots. I have like 8ish but i'm a founding member from release. If he purchasing a Tera Club subscription, will he also get 8+ character slots?

no he wont he will get the 8+ if he buy a collectors edition on a key site of his choice and activate it on the website on the old account terminal(no idea how its really called)

Either buy the key you will get one month of club + the additional stuff(including permanent veteran status) for 2-3€ more or u buy it for 50€ in game

There is no other way ? apart from buying character slots ? -- just buying the old collectors edition ?
You are asking the devs to give for free something that costs far more than a tera club membership (that is fairly cheap)... so, no of course the tera membership doesnt include an extra character slot.
Other way? the only way i know is increasing a slot every time, buying it from the shop. But no, you cant buy 5 extra slots just from the bat, you need to buy one by one.
