Hai, I'm a pretty old TERA player. Been playing it on and off (mostly off than on lol). The only thing I used to enjoy about this game was PvP, CS in particular. Used to spam that thing nonstop, since ow PvP is trash. However every time I tried to get back into this game I keep ending up in 30min + queues for all equalized gear battlegrounds. Steamcharts pretty much proclaims it dead as well, however I know a lot of people don't play through steam. My question is this - is it possible to still play this game casually as a PvPer, as in, log in do few equalized gear BGs then logout etc. ?
This game still worth it or dead?

Unless you log in during BG hours, no. You will not find queues popping nearly as much as even in the nighttime few years ago.
If PvP is all you care for I can strongly advise you to keep distance from Tera, unless you really want to build your daily times around BG hours and still waiting fairly long.
CS has been less active ever since they stopped allowing lvl 30s.Maybe someone else here has made different experiences they are willing to share, but form my personal experience I can only advise against coming back.

Similar experience here, unless you plan on being active during jackpot times, getting the BG to pop is unlikely. However there is a new pvp gear patch planned soon, you might want to check then as well.

If you want real PvP in a game TERA is the only game and CS the only mode since its equalized.
You need to queue at battleground jackpot times.
TERA is always worth coming back.

Tera pvp is pretty much a waste of time unless you love unbalanced classes, lag, bad performance, and to try to actually realize whats happening on your screen. specially if you want casual pvp.

If you can stand your CS EQ PvP fair-and-square-match to be ruined by certain 3rd party program users, sure, go for it.
