Another Missing Item...

    Sooo...the other day I asked where in the world speed potions are now, and from what I get they're gone, gone from the game, at least the source is, you can't gather more speed potions in the game, those genius developers evidently forgot about those when they revamped gathering, yet the Achievement "Speed Demon" is still there but new players won't be able get it unless they buy the remaining potions from older players, assuming there will be still any around in the future.


    Now today I was farming some Obsidian Essence Crystals in Val Kaeli and I noticed, guess what? there's no more Iteris shard gathering spots left.


    I had an alt which I didn't do yet the quests in that area so I went to check....and guess what! the quests that REQUIRES iteris shards are still there!




    How is a new player supposed to do these quests if they removed the frigging things?


    I know that people thing that things like this are irrelevant, but I still feel like these developers have completely forgot their own game and when they do these changes it shows just how much they got a clue of their impact on existing content, it's saddening.


    They could have added speed potions as an uncommon secondary drop from energy type essences and leaving some iteris nodes behind, it wasn't much thought to put into it.

    I was informed by another user that it is still possible to do these quests because there is a Quest which gives 15 of these shards as a reward.

    I just went back in Kanstria's area with an alt that hasn't done any quest to check how many quests requires and how many quests gives those shards.


    Miner Problems - Gives 15 Shards(For killing some minions)
    New and Improved - Wants 5 Shards
    Test of the Seeker - Wants 5 Shards


    So yeah you have a net gain of 5 shards in the end, if I didn't miss any other quest.
    (Also mind that the Kanstria teleport platform still eats iteris shards to move you around)

    I know this is really a surprise for you that the devs continously make these mistakes, but i tell you, fortunately for you , you apparently didnt play other mmorpgs. Im afraid you will be completely insane discovering that more than 50 achievements and material sources for those achievements are completely gone and players didnt know about it until well, someone tries to do em. This happens in soooo many mmorpgs, seriously. Im still surprised when someone post something like this lol. It is not because these things are irrelevant (for the devs they are) it is just too much work to keep monitoring things that are only used for achievements and "useless" stuff. They just dont have the time or the will to do those changes right, as simple as that. Happens everywhere and for what i saw so far, Tera is doing an "amazing" job in this matter. Only a couple of things missing, you should see other games lol.

    Seems like they changed all the quests so now they want Galborne Ore instead of Iteris shards....BUT the teleport platforms still want Iteris Shards to teleport you around....and the changed quests doesn't reward you with iteris shards anymore, translation:


    - They "fixed" the quests, but now you have no means of acquiring iteris shards anymore


    Of course they couldn't just change the teleport platforms to make em use galborne ore or just plain money like the other teleporters, but nope, BH "fixed" something by making it in some sense worse than before.

    I am a tera club member, but I do not have the travel atlas. I just disappeared from my inventory. In regular Tera, there is a bar with perks for those who have a subsription. Is there on on this Tera version?
