Adrenaline rush bug

  • Question for GF staff

Since when is adrenaline rush bugged and when are you planning on fixing that?

In case some people dont know it gives 15% more damage to party and not 5%. (tested today and i couldnt believe in my eyes )

Most likely is active since patch Patch Notes 72 – On Burning Wings

I mean common ... like lancers were not OP enough.

    Thanks.

  • i the most known bug we have into the game, and its caused by bhs, on kr they still have that bug for example so rip

We i didnt know that till yesterday .
Also i always thought that gameforge cant change anything on the client but bug fixes as grotto's first boss reset prove otherwise.

Anyways i would love to know what is their stance against this bug and not only that it ll be forwarded.

Are they considering it as a bug or balance problem? BHS wants to do smth about it? ( 18 ppl cleared with Brawler GLSHM vs 96 with Lancer they time i wrote this post )
    Something like that,

    Thanks

P.S. You get full 15% damage tested from "bugged Arush" . In the other hand brawlers recent passive gives 5.4 % damage and not 7% is this bug too :)?

  • Arush is bugged because memes ... like remember in past it was separated to two effects ? Dmg and aspeed ?
And now they added dmg to main effect ... which is amplified by the 10% glyph .... well you do the math.

    Also it's 15.5% not 15% :P

@Brawler: that's not a bug, passives are just weapon lines (or more like, weap lines are just passives) which means they stack additively, means you don't get full 7% from your view.
If you took off all your weapon damage lines and gloves and crystals, you would see 7% from passive.

I know that in most cases is not what you read and also it was semi-joke to be honest but you never know.
For example damage reduction on gear and crystals really follows the rule what u read is what u get but yes crystals for damage do not.

It doesn't. Reduction does exact same opposite thing: the more you stack of it, the bigger effect it has.

If you threw 1 more 10% damage reduction on any endgame tank, then during enrage they would only take 50% of damage they used to, or less. (ye, it's broken as heck)

Edit: they are the same effect, it's just that damage is added and dmg reduction is substracted so they do opposite things

  • Poor brawlers, they really deserve a free class change voucher until talents.

    You really didnt understand me.

About damage reduction if u sum all the numbers u see from your gear and crystals and lets say the sum is 80 , then ye your damage reduction is very close to what you read and in this case 80% . ( its still is damage reduction not damage taken )

I know that the difference from 80% to 90% damage reduction on damage taken is not 10 % but 100 %.

I am not referring to how to works just on what u read is what you get.

But this is off topic i care about my initial question and i hope GF answers soon.

  • Same thing with damage too though >.>

If you sum all the gear lines and passives you have, you will get ~50% and that's what you get as bonus. if you add 7% to it, you'll get 57% and not 7% increase in damage... (it's 1.57/1.5 = 4.6% increase)

You still didnt get me and maybe i didnt too so stay on topic please.

  • Didnt know adrenaline rush was bugged... oh my. lol. Been playing with a lancer for several months and i discover it now hahaha.

  • then you remember 95% of the population plays lancer as tank :elin17:

  • I have no idea if its a typo in patch notes or a bug.

Although i wouldnt bet even a single euro on that its a typo, no matter how much it amazes me that they left it like this for so long.

One more proof that balance is just a roll in the dice.

One thing is for sure Gameforge can ask BHS about it and i hope for an answer.

My opinion is that lancer is better even with 5% boost but my opinion doesnt matter . If its a bug it should be fixed - if not we ll all continue our lives.

  • Heya,

I moved the thread into a more appropriate section.

This particular bug was already reported and forwarded.

    :elin21:

"The black dress was fringed by countless laces and frills. These outlines of her were enfolded by metallic protectors on the back of her hands and a rustic tasset. Her looks reminded one of the ceremonial robes of medieval knights—an odd mixture that could be called neither dress nor armour. And finally, where normally there might have been a ribbon, she was wearing an old, metallic chest."
