Mask upgrade!!

In the tera patch stream live there was a token to exchange for masks. From where do these tokens come from?

You get those by dismantling Masks. This will give you the token of the same tier as you dismantled the mask, and you can exchange 4 of them for an upgrade stone. Thus, 5 masks of the tier you have = one mask of the higher tier with the same stats.

So, when I dismantle the big mask that I got (with 0.3 crit power on priest <.<) - I can trade it into a big mask with a better stat? Or would I just destroy my mask and have one of those coupons for nothing?

Plus, are the coupons bankable?

When the tokens were shown in the stream, they were unbankable.

So when you dismantle a mask, you get a coupon of the same level of mask. If you have a Mask of Beginning, you dismantle that into a Mask of Beginning Coupon, of which you need (i think it was 4) to get an Mask of Beginning with the Stat of your choice.
If you dismantle an Mask of Infinity, you can either use 4(?) Mask of Infinity Tokens for a Mask of Infinity of your choice or 2(i think) Maks of Infinity Coupons for an Upgrade stone from Beginning to Infinity.
When you use this on your Mask of Beginning with 2.4% Cooldown Reduction, you get a Mask of Infinity with 3% Cooldown Reduction.

EDIT: Note that i might be wrong with any number of required coupons, i didn't dismantle anything yet, i am not lucky enough for another mask :O

as Devoravit already mentioned, to upgrade your mask you need the tokens from the higher tiered mask.
