Atleast say "Hello we found out what happened, bla bla bla, rewards will be distributed shortly" or something like that, not "we're checking, but this has such a low priority for us we'd rather take care of anything else first, then think about your rewards - maybe"
It has barely been two days but yes, the rewards should have been distributed before the merge happened so it would have been in our inbox.
50 players per class are expecting a reward on 5 ladders except for Skyring where it's 20. Potentially well over 1000 players, on each server that is. And in addition to the delayed ending it's almost weekend.
well, its GF ofc they need like 4 weeks for such "low priority" stuff

Also what happens with people who namechanged? Hopefully leaderboard works by ID and not name
