To destroy the dementalith in the mission you have to place a charge near it. The problem is that the charge just disappears after a few seconds without doing anything.

Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong?
When the game says you need to be 'near it', it means 'right next to it'. The area should turn into 'Dementalith', only there you can trigger the explosion.
And although there are several Demantaliths in the region only 1 (!) counts for the story mission. Search the Dementalith with the red exclamation mark above it.
