    You don't need bypass, the proxy worked for ages on KR.


    Bypass only got made, cause people looked at wth it was, and were disgusted to ever have that on their system.

    No you don't,the bypass is to not install it at all.


    Its not about supporting proxy, beside I don't "support" it as I didn't donate to the dev nor advertise it anywhere (like you did in the past by actually posting github links lol).
    Do I defend it? eh I guess you could say I defend most of the QoL things.It makes classes I like being more enjoyable/equal to german ping. Actually the most it does for me is fix BHS retarded developping, slow looting and making each boss drop 50items, I guess GF could chance such by giving us a pouch/box whatever as opposed to 50mats per bosses.(WoW has a looting option built ingame that loots everything around you as soon as you pick an item).
    But its still BHS idea to make ping dependant skills for no reason while having no built-in ping compensation.
    Skip a cut-scene that you've already seen 50times because they thought it'd be a great idea to add cut-scene into dungeon, like why is this not an ingame option to begin with?



    Your hate for proxy is purely based on stubbornness, you cannot provide any other argument other than "its cheat".
    Yet I don't see you lobbying around for all the exploits that happened in the past, all the millions of gold exploited that were never deleted, brooches from raid, diamonds,GM abuse, despite sending proofs, video, screenshot, names, exact details. See the difference, me, I'm against exploity modules, and I did report people for memeslash, teleport or ace dungeon, and they were banned and/or fixed. Some are still around, but you'll mostlikely get banned if you use them (ace dungeon)


    So instead, why don't you explain why don't you "support" it? The only "downside" is the PVP desynch, which is specificly stated that you'll have desynch if you use it in PVP bcuz its not made for PVP, yet PVP geniuses use it for PVP :DDDD

    They must do something about cheaters, if Xingcode3 can`t block cheaters, they must search another solution, but this problem need an fix urgently.

    Tbh I am not supporting proxy either, yes Skill Prediction is helpful to people, but proxy brought more bad than good imho.


    But at this stage, just flat out disabling proxy (in any way) is going to kill the game.

    Firstly, no xigncode installs itselfs as a rootkit, it hides its presence and makes it hard to deinstall by also installing a driver into your registry.
    To deinstall you will have to do it manually, EVEN after you have deinstalled the software it came with. This behavior is akin to malware of the worst kind, malware that even a good anti virus program wont detect.


    Xigncode3 scans your system for software, keystrokes, programs, .exe files, basically anything.
    This alone is forbidden by the european union and gameforge would cease to exist if they would implement this without asking for permission, yes we have to allow it, naturally nobody within their right mind would allow something as intrusive and as spying as xigncode3.

    We do need a solution for the hacking problem but instead of applying a piece of software that was bypassed before even being out gameforge, mEmE and bluehole studios should work on the actual problem, their horrible network solution.

    What proof do I need? I read the proxies discord, dev said xigncode is useless against proxy and they'll make a bypass so it doesnt even get installed on your pc. Literally A DEV of third party program/theory crafter POSTED IN THIS THREAD, that KTERA HAS XIGNCODE and it does NOTHING against proxy, what else do you want? If you want physical proof go ahead and try it yourself on Ktera, why should I do it for you lol? Better yet, wait NA's patch, and you'll see that it won't change anything.


    Not sure what your video is supposed to prove tho, some idiots use retarded module, I did state that some module are stupid/should be removed/people should be banned, which was the case for teleport,memeslash & acedungeon. Cleric is still there, but what does it do exactly? Ruins PK/zerg experience at this particular spot, move 20meter away and it doesnt work anymore (just a guess since I dont use such).


    As for posting anonymously, this is a forum, so unless you go and post a video of playing your own character, everyone can be anyone. I could easily put Benox has my nickname in my profile, am I Benox tho? Beside what does it matter if people know X person uses proxy? If I were to tell you my name is Bob ingame, would you think differently? No you wouldnt. Another useless argument.


    But yeah you're right, I do hope GF implement Xigncode too, so you will have to install it on your PC while the rest of us won't need to. (including non-annonymous Roukanken)


    I mean you don't seem to understand that I'm not against a proxy fix either, but they're gonna need to implemented some of QoL stuff otherwise people won't stay.

    Many games use it for years, including Black Desert Online, which is 1000 times bigger than Tera.
    Call of Duty games used Punkbuster (similar to Xigncode) since like 2000, guess what, no one got their bank info etc stolen by them xDDDD

    lmao, they're not even remotely comparable. It's like comparing MS DOS with Linux, and XINGCODE is the former since it can compromise your entire PC.


    Some anti cheats are rootkits, like GayGuard and this shit, and others are just anti-cheat. Usually it's the korean garbage that's malware.

    Xingcode is useless, can be bypased without bypas.. someone tell me, he launch game, wait for xingcode to scan, and after scan he start proxy and all fine.. so is better without, i was hoping this anticheat will solve something, but is useless.
