GameForge when you will do something about PROXY & HACK in your game ?

    why skill prediction affect our gameplay? There is something called PvP and except PvE retarded scripted boss PvP has somewhat competition. And there is so much difference if u play with SP or not. You can just go on Youtube an see how these people desynch for you (which is an advantage for your opponet beside the usuall benefits like faster skill casting via avoid ping tax) .. funny WoW has global cooldown of 0,5 sec on each queued Spell which can be refered to ping tax. But people think 0 Ping tax is ok
    For PvE nobody really cares except for the Moongourd-Warrior.

    Man ure so wrong about pvp, proxy and sp mod does not work so good in pvp, skills are failing so much, ask any pvp player who have exp with proxy and they will say same trust me. I dont have any reason to lie. Btw try to play with 170 ping mate and im gona ask you is it playable. Ofc u gona say now why i dont play to some other server closer to me to get better ping. Its simple i cant :) And i do not have reason to be salty, it is anoying when i see ppl saying things like this, if im gona critic something im gona be familiar with it with some understanding.

    Show me one (action)game where you can play with 170+ ms without any disadvantage against player with low ping. answer: There is no game. If u have bad ping you always have a disadvantage.


    People wouldn't hate so much about SP if the is an official statement that this kind of module is OK. Just like DPS meter.


    I would use it too if its ok. But i don't want to risk something. OFC only because people don't get banned today doesn't mean they are safe forever.


    Sadly GF don't want to give a statement.


    Something like: Using Proxy is against ToS but as long you only use SP and other non gamebreaking Module we will tolerate it

    Personally I don't care about proxy only the memeslash needs to be sorted out imo. edit and teleport while in fight everything else is just whatever.

    Wait. He told he is a developer ofc he don't get banned by GF. I mean as long you don't use it you don't break any rules. I mean there is no line in ToS that creating Mods or other thing for TERA is forbidden.


    It's like i running a gold selling site but i don't sell gold. I only offer a platform for other players. I doubt that GF would ban me .

    That might not be skill prediction, but it's still probably a proxy. My guess would be the GM Panel, because he teleports around the map.



    Btw Zorex implies they don't care if you proxy, because he didn't get banned, he forgets he has immunity because GF loves him for fixing major vulnerability issues (Infinite TT exploit & Server crashes). This doesn't mean they will tolerate others using it.

    Problem is, there are players who use it regardless of their ping, brag about their dps, kick everyone out from their parties who doesn't meet their dps standards (which you will have a hard time to reach without using it either) and all they can say is:

    so, if there is a disadvantage that you found a fix for it just for each and everyone of us to be equal and try to play abit with skill, you would love to remove that fix and just let everyone be screwed?

    p.s; it's not even a matter of morals, if it's not affecting you, causing problems to the game, affecting the servers in anyway or giving any advantage to others that they shouldnt normally be able to have, why do you even care?

    @White many games just ban you for using simple VPN or Pingbooster. I don't play with 30ms i play usually with 80 (rarely) to 120 - 150ms. Do i complain or say this game isn't playable? Either i accept that i live in a small village and adapt or i quit. Even some KTERA player have bad ping if they live outside. Do you really think all KTERA players have 10ms? If people live near GF Headquaters people have the same ping.


    Pls wake up. Only because you mostly see 2 - 3 streamer from KTERA with low ping doesn't mean the whole comnmunity have sub 10 ms

    I don't know why ppl care about tera-proxy modules!? In my opinion just Memeslah needs a hotfix, all others are just make TERA life more comfortable :)
    If tera would have some more support/api for third party software, it would be much more popular then now.

    THIS. This is exactly the reason why i keep saying that people are so addicted with TERA, they're ready to use anything for it.


    As for "Why are they not fixing it? Making it bannable?" it's easy. Let's say they fix it, people start to get banned and so on... We're not only gonna have the usual 4, 5 clowns defending the proxy typing here. But probably DOZENS of all these clowns who are gonna get out from their cave "Muh gaming experience!" "I'm forced to play with 45 Ms instead of 25 REEEEEEEE" "I'm now bad at PvE again and can't show off on Moongurd :(" etc... And probably even more sending tickets to GameForge support! Imagine if GameForge staff would ACTUALLY need to do their job by answering all these tickets, instead of playing League all day. Imagine asking people to do their god damn JOB, what an heresy.


    It's too late to start banning people for that, and GameForge is well aware of that and probably BhS too. Only thing GameForge / BHS did these past months was to "solve" that issue in the chat via Megaphones, so i think they probably used all their efforts for that and still gave each other some handshakes "Good job guys! We're really an awesome company."


    Anyways. If you're still a clean player, one who isn't using proxy at all, the best solution is just to give up on playing TERA actively. Just be one of those guys who are logging daily to keep VG buff tier 3 up, or do some BAM quests and eventually spend a bit more time on it during the week-end, like for CU or whatever and that's it. It's not like PvE in this game is any good or challenging, it's not like BGs are any interesting (due to the awesome issues the MatchMaking provides), it's not like the open world PvP scene is alive... Aaaaaand most importantly it's not like there is good players left on the game, to actually provide you help if needed, or show you how to play the game in a legit way. Most of the players either being new players who are lost and will eventually quit soon enough, or "veterans" jerking off each other via their so called Moongurd runs or BG ranks.

    Me getting bloodrave doesn't affect anyone at all, why should i be banned for wintrading ? Playing without bloodrave is such a pain in the ass, plus why shouldn't i have murderous instict too, it's a huge dps boost, i know that i don't deserve it, but i know that i need it

    @White Glad to see your biggest concern about this whole thread is my presence on the forum, i won't justify myself (again) about why i'm typing here. Just do some research on the forum and you will find your answer, since you seem to care so much about it.


    And don't worry about the so called "skills", i accomplished enough on this game when it was still relevant to be happy with myself regarding that.


    You talking about these two points, that are definitely not related to the main issue this thread is exposing just says enough about your brain power. Please don't quote what i'm typing if it's to embarass yourself, just a friendly advice.
