Tips and tricks

  • Hey there! o/

I found a pretty neat article on the NA forums and I thought I share them with you guys (in case you don't read NA forums). Original link to the thread: https://forums.enmasse.com/ter…eady-know-or-may-help-you

    Credits to JasonTERA for posting.

There are pictures for these tips - unfortunately the forum does not support them if they are uploaded to Puush. If you'd like to see them, refer to the original thread.

    1. Go to highwatch quick & Free.
In anywhere (other than inside a dungeon/BG), you can open "Vanguard Request" window (default key : H) and click "Redeem" in order to go to highwatch for free and without teleporting animation.

    2. Go to the dungeon entrance quick & Free.
Similar as #1. Open "Vanguard Request" window and click the dungeon that you want to move.

Then, there is a Button of "Go to Dungeon Entrance". Just click it and you can go to the entrance without any teleporting animation.

    3. Quick Ghillieglade reset + re-enter
After getting the loots, you do not need to type "/reset" inside the ghillieglade. Just use "Velik's Opportunity" to go to "Velik's Sanctuary" and then type "/reset" in there. You can skip one loading screen with this.

Getting loot > /reset > loading screen > Premium area scroll > loading screen > enter ghilieglade > loading screen > start : 3 loading screens

Getting loot > Premium area scroll > loading screen > /reset > enter ghillieglade > loading screen > start : 2 loading screens

    4. Dungeon tier & Checking dungeon drop list : Accessory, VM mats, etc.
You can see the list of items that dungeons drop by opening IMS window.
And you can also see the number of "STARS" assigned to dungeons.
    - Alpha reset scroll resets 2 star DG
    - Beta reset scroll resets 3 star DG
    - Gamma reset scroll resets 4 star DG
    - Delta reset scroll resets 5 star (top tier) DG

    5. Enter ACE dungeon quickly.
You do not need to go to highwatch in order to enter ACE dungeon. Just open IMS window, and then click "Ace dungeon" at top left. You can enter the Ace dungeon from anywhere.

    6. Outfit switch button disappears.
It barely happens recently, but still heppens sometimes. The outfit switch button in your character profile window sometimes disappears (yellow box in screenshot). Do not be puzzled. You can still use hotkey (default : Left Shift + 1~5) or just click any tabs in your profile(costuming, DG/PvP or stats/Reputation) and then go back to the profile (red box in screenshot). The outfit switch button will reappear.

    7. Unstuck
You can use "unstuck" in system menu every 30min. Basically it is like "Safe heaven teleport scroll" which brings you to a nearby town or city. And it is an instant teleport without any teleporting animation.

    8. Bring your LFG post to the top.
When you are LFGing, sometimes there is a lot of LFG post so that yours is listed at the bottom and people think it is an old or finished run. Remember that your post is shown at the top always only for your party members, but the LFG posts are sorted by creating time.
    So, in order to bring your post to the top again so that people can notice it first, you will need to delete your post and re-create it which is pretty bothersome. You do not have to re-type your LFG message. Just follow the sequance below;

Post LFG > click "Edit message" in LFG window > click "Delete message" > click "Confirm" button in your Register party window

The original message will not be deleted while you are opening (editting) your LFG post. Therefore, you can simply click a button to create a new LFG post with exactly same message as you posted.

    9. Posting LFG in dungeon, BG
You may notice that you can not click "Create button" in LFG window while you are in a DG or BG. Do not worry. You can simply type "/LFG [message]" and this command will post your message in LFG window.

    10. Kick yourself.
Somtimes, you may want to be kicked from the party (LFG group or BG). However, in case people do not initiate kick vote, you can type "/kick [your name]" and then ask people to accept it.

    11. Change your POV to other player or an NPC.
Try to "Left shift + Mouse Left click" an NPC or other player. The POV will move to the clicked NPC/Player

    12. Check the name of crafting (VM) items.
When you want to see the VM design for your class on the broker but you do not learn and/or know the name of it, you do not have to search all design or ask in global chat.
Open your craft window (default "J") and check "show all" at bottom left. you can see all the item list and can check the name of the item that you want.

    13. Cannot see the raid members.
Sometimes, when you join a raid, the raid window does not show up and you cannot see the raid members. Do not be confused. Just open raid window (default key "B") and click the eye icon in any party twice. The raid members will show up in your main screen.

  • What a CLICKBAIT!

    9. One can also type /goal MESSAGE to create an LFG message.

    14. Type /inspect NAME to inspect someone you don't see. If they are inside a dungeon (excluding Ghilliglade), battleground, in a loading screen or not online, the inspection will fail.
This also does what 11. above does btw.

    15. Type /follow NAME to follow that person.

    16. Press Shift + Right Click when you want to divide a stack of items when making a brokerage listing, moving items to and from your bank/merchant/specialty store or using the trade window.

    17. Type /select NAME to see the person's buffs.

    18. Press Shift + Arrow Up/Down/Left/Right to shift the centre of your screen, i.e. change your crosshairs' position.

    19. Use a 1-hour 100% XP boost before logging out if you have a daily boost up, so its duration doesn't decrease while you're offline.

    20. Type /invite (or /join) NAME in order to invite someone to party. If they are busy (i.e. in a loading screen, crafting, gathering, enchanting, banking etc), the invitation will fail.

    21. Similarly, type /ginvite NAME to invite a lonely twink into your in-game family. Type /gquit to leave when the time has come for you to move on. Don't forget to say goodbye.

    22. Type /drop to leave a party/raid. Alternatively, right click on your HP bar or press the red/blue party/raid options button under/above your HP bar.

Credits to myself for expanding this guide.

What a clickbait, mate, what a clickbait...

P.S. I would not endorse the use of 'tip' №3 above.
Looks like they've made yet another ninja change - /reset now works outside instances.

  • Looks like they've made yet another ninja change - /reset now works outside instances.

You could always reset instances when you weren't inside an instance but it's a little bit different than doing it inside.
If reset instance while being inside one it does only reset the one you are inside.
If you do it outside it resets every instance.

    Ok 1 from me then hmm;
type and enter /uncle if you duel with Mito ^^

Edit to be useful : (that command /uncle = auto lose if you dont have time)

A very old anthic legend which is written on an unknown years old rock says :

    "All Slayer, Mito Slayest"

  • If you have a lot of Metamorphic emblems and you want to save space in your bank / inventory then buy items from the "Crafting materials" section. Most of them can be dismantled with 1:1 ratio. I personally buy the Triumph keybadge because that's the most expensive.
For Entropic emblems, buy Semi Enigmatic Scrolls. You can dismantle those back as well for the same amount of emblems.

This works as long as they don't ninja change the rates.

Note to everyone who did this. On September 13th (with the Fishing update and Crafting revamp in KTera) they removed these materials from the Metamorphic emblem shops so I assume it will not be possible to save bank space using this trick once this patch hit EU servers as well.

    Removal of Old Enchantment Materials
Old materials have been removed from Metamorphic Emblems and Entropic Emblems. However, old enchantment materials are available from Entropic Emblems.
