Lancer race

    Hi guys.


    My question is about a Lancer class.


    I have been reading in forums and I have read that for PVE it doesnt matter too much the class you choice, but talking about PVP the 2 best races are High Elf Male and Ellin.
    Sadly, I have already an Ellin Warrior, so the only race I "can"/want choose is High Elf, 'cause I dont want to "repeat" races ;).


    So, my question is If I can select High Elf Female instead of the Male one. I ask this 'cause I dont know if the animations are the same for Female and Male ^_^U. Will it be possible or I have to select HE Male ??

    in the next big patch, in October, there will be an equalization for lancer animations, equalizing the reach of combo attack and speed of shield barrage. after this races will be probably equal . (with a slight difference for elin, but that's __really__ minimal. [i heard this from korean streamers])

    What about other races and classes?

    Thanks Aman for the info. Glad to hear that :). I would like to create a HE Female but after what you said, maybe I can w8 one month :).

    Thanks Sirgoulas, but what I was asking is if the Elf Male and Elf Female have the same animations or at least, no so different.
    What do U think ?? Could I try to make an Elf Female ?? Or her animations are "slow" as the other classes, but Elf Male and Elin ??

    For now elf male (not female) is best pve and elin pvp.


    Elf male has the fastest shield barrage approximately +15-20 att speed more than elin. Don't know how much faster than elf female. Also some said wallop is cast or cancelled faster on elf male than elin but I can't confirm that. Elin has better range in shield barrage and auto attack (skating). Very important to catch ranged dps and go on healers. Ofc that is less relevant in pve.


    Elf is better in pvp only in 2 cases 1) Against melee classes or retards that want to come to you (but it sux in chasing) and 2) When you open adrenaline rush + nostrum you can do your a-rush combo guaranteed even with more than average ping.


    The play style in pvp is even different but that is a long story.


    Choose one of those 2 according to what you want to focus and if later they actually balance you can race change

    I feel the same as you do. Didn't bother making a thread cause the game is in such a pathetic state at the moment the animation of lancer barrage is the least of concerns

    i have gaielf male lancer and elin too, altho i feel the animation difference, the elin feels a bit faster than it was before, much more playable. i would say the gap is not that big like before, but yes, im a bit disappointed too.

    I don't know how often i need to tell you guys that there is nearly no difference. Mabye 50ms max but thats it.


    The smaller a race is the faster the animations looks like.
    Record a video and compare both races with same atk speed in a split screen and see for yourself.


    Human lancer is still superior for PvP.

    I'm not the one saying that 50ms (call it animation time) is nothing,
    those 50ms can decide if you put sa before you have to block or dodge
    I'm sure I'm not the one having no clue
