Welcome stargazers! With the launch of patch 56, Arborea will be graced by a brand-new permanent event for all players to enjoy. The more time you spend in TERA at the weekends, the better rewards you will reap, including things like flying dragons with passive effects or exclusive head decorations!
The event will be activated for the first time on the weekend of 10th–11th June 2017, continuing every following Saturday and Sunday until further notice.
Overview
Every Day
- Star Traces can be earned as loot in certain dungeons
- TERA Club members receive a Star Trace every day from the new TERA Club Astral Box
Only Saturdays and Sundays
- After playing for 30 minutes you’ll receive the 1st Astral Gift (once per day)
- After playing for 1 hour you’ll receive a Cosmic Spark (once per day)
- After playing for 2 hours you’ll receive a Cosmic Spark (once per day)
- After playing for 3 hours you’ll receive a Cosmic Spark (once per day)
- After playing for 4 hours you’ll receive a Cosmic Spark (once per day)
- After playing for 5 hours you’ll receive a Cosmic Spark (once per day)
Astral Gifts
Astral Gifts can only be received on Saturdays and Sundays. You’ll receive the first after playing for 30 minutes. Simply right-click to open it. Inside you’ll find a Small Comet plus the 2nd Astral Gift. Astral Gifts are fleeting and will disappear from your inventory after roughly one day, so don’t wait around to open them!
Cosmic Sparks
From the 2nd Astral Gift, you’ll need a Cosmic Spark to open each gift. Cosmic Sparks can also be received for playing. Each gift you open will grant you a Glowing Chest containing your items. Cosmic Sparks are similarly fleeting and will disappear from your inventory after roughly one day, so don’t wait around to use them!
Small Comet
In contrast to Astral Gifts and Cosmic Sparks, you can collect comets as they do not fade or disappear over time. Right-clicking on a comet will open the Comet Shop where you can exchange them for cool items.
Star Traces
Two of the items in the Comet Shop are shrouded in mystery and can only be revealed using Star Traces. Star Traces can be earned as loot in dungeons every day, or purchased in the Comet Shop. TERA Club members will also receive Star Traces from a new rewards chest on the club bar.
Secrets
The Open and Dark Secrets from the Comet Shop can only be unveiled using Star Traces. Unlocking these secrets will grant you powerful enchanting materials, exclusive mounts and dragon helms which are only available from the event! A list of items can be found in the PDF.
The Open Secret requires a total of 3 Star Traces. Combine them with the Secret and you’ll receive an awesome item!
The Dark Secret requires a total of 5 Star Traces. Combine them with the Secret and you’ll receive an awesome item!

Notes
Warning! Astral Gifts and Cosmic Sparks are fleeting, and their ephemeral starlight will fade after a short time. Use the items as quickly as possible, otherwise they will disappear from your inventory after roughly one day.
The Dragon Skill: Mighty Armored Dragon (4 Days) is useful for all players. Even if you already have a permanent dragon or wyvern with a 1.5/2.0 effect, the effect from this temporary dragon will be activated independently of your permanent mount’s effect.
