    I never had this problem before and now i have it everytime i close tera.

    No idea why that happens. Never had such problems :D. Stay on dota :P.


    Well, the issue is that my desktop resolution is 1680x1050, and my TERA resolution is 1280x800 and i play fullscreen, so when i open the game and close it all the area of my desktop that exceed 1280x800 is blacked and removed.

    If you would like to edit your resolution that is not available by default in game, you should go to


    TERA\Client\S1Game\Config
    open up
    S1Option.ini
    change the following lines:
    RESOLUTION_X=
    RESOLUTION_Y=


    save the file and try again.


    However there are so many files containing the resolution settings, this might not be the only options file that can be altered to change the them. X/ I hope it'll work though.

    If i wanted to change resolution, i would change it ingame simply why go the complicated way, but i dont wanna change my game resolution and my desktop screen resolution, and it worked fine before, why now?

    I'm not saying this to argue with you but for me it seems the solution is just a click away but you refuse to do it because why not.


    But to actually find a real solution for this, when was the last time it worked for you? Did you have any problems logging in with the launcher?

    I cannot change ingame resolution because i will have fps drop if i do it (already tried), and i cannot use lower resolution on desktop because i have claustrophobia, i need to stay like this its VITAL, and this is happening since few days only, i also have problem with launcher, always asks me to give code sent to email for unkown device, every single morning, i contacted support and they said its ok noone is trying to steal account, and yesterday i opened my account and didnt ask me i was surprised, but it wasnt long to see it again, i had fps drop and i closed game and when i reopened asked me for a code again (weird no?) ok i gave code sent by email and when i opened game the game was in french wtf, my game was english the second before i close and reopen asks for code and change language to french? is this world for real?

    Okay that was a really long sentence. xD For now I'd like to react a few of your points.


    First increasing your resolution will give you fps drop, that's okay, the computer needs to cover a larger field which means more work the gpu might not be able to handle that well. So we're not going to stress this.


    We need to figure out what happened few days earlier. My personal experience is if I launch the game but nothing happens, clicking the play button again resets all my options within the game. It's like a whole new game. The camera zoom, sound, graphical options, even some ingame features like the Wardrobe are back to default and fortunately the UI stays the same. At first I thought this was the case with you but if you've never touched the resolution for the reasons you already told then we have to scrap this idea.


    Asking for the code again never really happens with me unless I log out in the launcher, change my IP address and try to log in again. Make sure you're not playing through proxies or other connection altering methods.


    And as for the language, simply just select the English flag at the top right to prevent it switching to any other language. The launcher *should* use the EN localisation if you clicked on that instead of the french or german version.
