Time for some champagne! TERA was released in Europe on 3rd May 2012, and as time waits for no BAM, today we’re already celebrating its 5th anniversary! Such an occasion is deserving of some serious festivities, so for the anniversary month of May we have a ton of events and rewards lined up for the party guests – and you’re all invited!

Quadruple Battleground Credits
Within Patch 55, Battleground will no longer reward you with Bellicarium and Killingspree Credits. These reputation stores will stay available for a little longer (with reduced prices come Patch 55). But before this change, we want to offer you from now on the opportunity to grab a maximum of credits. So here is your chance!
Double EXP Event
Get ready for the new content, available May 2nd, and reach level 65 with any character you haven’t yet reached it with!
Between Friday, April 28th 16:00 and Tuesday, May 2nd 08:00 (CEST), you’ll get 100% more experience points from monster in the open world!
T.E.R.A. Event
Seek out the treasures of Arborea! After the server maintenance for patch 55, you’ll be able to find blue chests strewn throughout the entire world, each containing an Anniversary Gift. Open this box and you’ll receive one of the following at random:
- The letter T, E, R or A
- Some permanent Imprintable Sportswear
- Various accessories
- A selection of glittering party paraphernalia (Disco Ball, Starlight, Dragon Fireworks)
- Enchanting materials
Exclusive Achievement and Title
Combine the four letters of the word TERA and you’ll receive a permanent Elin Spyder! Once you learn this riding skill you’ll be given the anniversary title ‘Where is the Cake?’.
Big Ass Bosses
Once a day at precisely 8:15 PM a boss will appear somewhere at random. Meldita, Shandra Manaya, Fulminar and Valona will take it in turns to do the honors.
Find and take out the boss for these rewards:
- 500x [Event] Ruby
- 10x Dragonwing Scale
- 1x Veteran Wyvern Researcher's Tome
- [Only Saturday and Sundays] 1x Riding Skill: Training Speedster (7 Days, various possible colors)
Each player who joins the fight will receive the full list of rewards by parcel post.
Caution: The bosses’ HP and other stats have been massively increased – even in a big group, it will be tough to take them down!
New Challenges
New instances, new challenges! Following the server maintenance you can look forward to new dungeon challenges for reaping rewards. Full details on this event can be found here!

Birthday Bamarama
From 16th May the BAMs will be returning to the arena to fight it out for fame and glory – and you can bet on the victors! Every day between 7 PM and 10 PM there’ll be a new round every 15 minutes in the following lineup:
Event 1:
- Time (PM): 7:00, 7:15, 7:30, 7:45, 8:15, 8:30, 8:45, 9:00, 9:15, 9:30, 9:45
- Regular Bamarama with betting and gold tickets
Event 2:
- Time (PM): 8:00, 10:00
- Reward: Special chest with large amounts of buff food or enchanting materials
And while you’re waiting for the next Bamarama, why not spend some time at the Rootstock festival?
Battleground Jackpots
Fight for fame and glory… and the jackpot! Each day an additional reward box will be available for a certain period of time.
The schedule is the same one as the current credit based version – depending on the day and the battleground, you get one of the following reward boxes with massive amounts of valuable items!
Quest Jackpots in Dungeons
Similar to the battleground jackpots, there’ll also be a Vanguard Initiative quest each day for dungeons granting you additional rewards.
