This is 242 total crit factor, without Carving, from the front. If Defensive Stance actually got a 15% crit buff, Scythe should easily be at 100% crit rate, Blade Draw should be around 70%~, and filler skills should not be at a pathetic ~30%.
It's ridiculous that this 'buff' (which doesn't work at all) has been broken for so long in KTERA without a fix and now we're getting it in that broken state.

We have the same troubles with crit rate in def. stance and did not get any comments from administration because Shinra meter is not legal software and and we cannot prove this bug somehow.
Have you any information about how long they fix this on KTERA?

When they say "15% crit chance", they actually mean it in the same way that Deadly Gamble gives "50% crit chance", aka it's a multiplier of your base crit chance, before glyphs. I noticed this in the abnormality data in the client; DG and DStance both apply a type 167 effect, with values 1.5 and 1.15 respectively.
This means that if you had 27% base crit chance before, it becomes ~31% now. Or if you had 46.7% crit chance on Blade Draw (27% binomial double), it becomes ~52.4% now. It's a fairly small buff.
Some testing I did with DG and Scythe after the warrior revamp seemed to indicate that crit chance multipliers of this type do not affect Scythe. It was possible to get non-critting Scythes at ~240 total crit factor w/o Carving with DG active, which would make no sense if DG actually applied to Scythe. So, given that the DStance and DG effects are of the same type, it's highly likely that the DStance buff doesn't apply to Scythe either (and it appears that way after some testing at ~230 total crit factor w/ Carving).
Long story short: Warrior tank gearing doesn't change.
(There is some speculation still that the crit buff doesn't work at all, but I noticed a ~3-4% increase in crit rates on filler skills in my testing, so I personally doubt that's the case. Either way, it doesn't change anything.)

What a lame excuse of theirs! Our publisher didn't bother addressing the matter either but saying Shinra was illegal... Just wow.
