Can't see the last post in a forum thread

It's happened before - someone's replied to a thread (and I've even got a notification if I'm watching that thread) but I can't see their post. I've tried with another browser, even tried on my phone and still the same. A random amount of time later the post becomes visible. Latest example: Launcher.exe problem.

but when I open the thread, the post is not showing.

Does the last post need to be approved by a moderator for whatever reason? If so, why is it showing in search results before it's approved? I can't keep reopening the thread a whole day, hoping that the post will finally appear.

lol I actually wrote to him advising him to either remove the screenshot or scratch his email address because moderators would've done it anyway.

Thanks for confirming my suspicion. Until the bug's fixed (this year?), it would help if a moderator drops a post after approving such a comment, so others can see it's now visible. Obviously, they gotta delete their post after - something they never, ever bother doing after writing 'thread moved' posts.
