My chain works only 50% of the time after 1st or 2nd hit of Distant Blade. It works more consistently after 3rd hit. Does anyone else have this problem? The buff is not even that good and BHS can't do it properly.

In the Korean patch, it is said it chains faster after the 3rd hit of Distant Blade. And only that hit. So it is normal that it doesn't work after the 1st and the 2nd hits.
But if it doesn't work consistently after the 3rd hit, it is not normal.

@OP It's probably another chain that's ping dependant or you press the button for it too slowly? Or maybe you have kds on cd for a split second so it doesn't come off fast enough?

With the new class patch, this chain will be made ever faster but it should work after every hit according to Yosha's patch notes.

And I tried slow chain, quick chain but it just doesn't work 100% of the time. Either my ping screws with me or this chain timing is as strict as Street Fighter Ultra-Combo
. But i live in Germany so my ping is pretty much stable all the time at 39ms. I would like to believe that BHS is mocking the slayer class. -
Imo it's a lot like priest triple nemesis to final reprisal chain, 1st and 2nd tn to final reprisal is hard to do or even impossible for people with high ping (like, european ping 30-70 is high for tera). Even the basic metamorphic blast to final reprisal is hard for some people with very high, 200+ ping
Maybe it's just bugged but idk.

What are you talking about? We are already at the same patch with RU tera or anywhere else in the world for that matter (except ktera ofc).
The problem is the RNG timing needed to faster chain the KDS.

With the new patch - new class patch - they will probably fix it if there is an issue after 1st or 2nd , but oki on 3. -

Kapt it is not RNG timing. It is just badly made like someone mentioned on priest. Basically you gotta press in 0.1sec to chain it which is just stupid and impossible at times. Also animations are broken on each class so there is no suprise people would think it is RNG due to one chain on elf working totally faster/slower then on castanic for example (this is just from my personal experiance). They should just increase the time you can chain in to like 1-1.5sec like for many other slayer/warr skills. Overall bluehole didn't bother to actually equilize every class animations and chains.

Oy oy oy some speed increases(kds and ww, would be nice to see ms too), big changes there Backstap 17m and some other chain chance for after kd? , range changes and race eq's in some skills too bad not all skills - so baraka and poporin would be more popular in slayer -. With elin (or even worse) , very slow(slowest actually) auto attack popo slayer had, then baraka.
With faster kds + after db kds = same like auto attack's/fury strike 's speed kds? waow may be..
But i have to say faster kds not allways good - how slow that good sometimes - , as its also anti knock down/defensive skill while usinng. Especially if you surrounded by more than 2 people. Also to avoid another slayer's backstab+stun. Well, since they backstab and stun try you = they are noob so no matter you avoid them with kds or another ways - tenacity, ww, roll, counter backstab etc - . Good to see ht range increased as like backstab when there are range classes more than old days but that will bring more dsync for sure +zajeb, race matters i didnt try db + kds change since i dont login to game from a long time but probably its possible to make with some races easier while fail in some races . If the ones type their race who able to do it successfully, we would see its race thing +. But also timing sure matters (when using it for ex 2 same races). What looks like from here (from out of the game for me ehe) is they surely need to fix it.

No dude. I have Priest and i can chain Final Reprisal 100% of the time. It doesn't work like that with Slayer KDS chain. And i have tested it for like 15 minutes. Hopefully it will get fixed with the next update.
About the slayer buff, as you can see they continue to give slayer tiny buff patch after patch instead of a proper revamp.
At our current state, slayer can only come close to warr/sorc/archer dps only when ICB bug with max multiplier (300%).
What funny is, in NA Tera and RU Tera, ICB can be bugged in RMHM, while in EU Tera it cannot.Even after the latest upcoming buff in Ktera, i will still say slayer is still in bad shape because we won't ever have the talents. Even the crit chance buff for MS is pretty much useless, because i think we will still have to stack crit for OHS and UOHS.
In the PvP scene, they are gradually fixing the glaring flaws of Slayers. But what i would like to see is completely removal backstab animation lock (make it like Ninja's). Remove Tenacity animation's lock and increase its duration to 10s.
Also the Whirlwind effect is the multiple target-damage effect.

Saabi from NA has a video with a high ICB multiplier.
And yes, the DB > KDS combo should work fine after the Valkyrie release. I saw it in some KTera streams.
