Patch Notes 52.03 – Rise of the Warrior

  • Warriors in particular will jump for joy starting Tuesday, 7th February: Patch 52 holds a revision of their class in store for them. In addition, you'll also find simplified use of noctenium infusions, new equipment for your head, and a few changes to guild missions.


    Dungeons

    Harrowhold

    • Fixed problem triggered by removing an effect too fast in Phase 4
    • Fixed problem that caused the Dust and Flame Warning effects not to be triggered in Phase 3
    • Removed the Velik's Blessing effect, which increased the damage of the Scythe warrior skill

    Classes

    Warrior

    Like the Archer and the Sorcerer, the Warrior has now also been reworked!

    • Edge
      • Stacking is shown under your own health bar by default for better visibility. It can instead be shown under the enemy's health bar as before in the game options.
    • Torrent of Blows
      • Increased skill damage by approx. 300%, no change to PvP damage
      • Protects against attacks from the front
    • Rain of Blows
      • Increased skill damage and PvP damage by 6-7%
      • Reduced cooldown from 7 to 6 seconds
    • Poison Blade
      • Grants 2 edge per use
      • Noctenium infusion effect removed
    • Leaping Strike
      • Can be used with Scythe as a chained skill
    • Mangle
      • Removed
    • Charging Slash
      • Increased skill damage by 10%, no change to PvP damage
    • Combative Strike
      • Increased skill damage by 20%, no change to PvP damage
    • Rising Fury
      • Increased skill damage by 20%
      • Removed protection against damage during use
      • Increased effectivity: The lower your HP, the more damage is inflicted
    • Deadly Gamble
      • The following skills are enhanced for its duration:
      • [Rain of Blows XI] +10% additional damage and double edge stacking
      • [Blade Draw XI] +10% additional damage and double edge stacking
      • [Scythe II]: +10% skill damage and +20% range
    • Smoke Aggressor
      • Sacrifice 20% of your HP to summon a spirit for 20 seconds. This spirit contains 15 times the HP sacrificed.
      • You suffer 50% less damage (20% in PvP) for the duration
      • Increased effect/summoning speed
    • Traverse Cut
      • Attack speed increases by 0.9% (max. 13 stacks) with each direct hit
      • Removed reduction of enemy endurance
    • Blade Draw
      • Increased skill damage by 10%
    • Scythe
      • Increased skill damage by 10%
      • Carving Scythe [Rare]: Triples the chance to crit against monsters (previously only doubled)
    • Assault Stance
      • In this stance, Warriors deal more damage to monsters
    • [NEW] Head On
      • Increases your crit damage 1.18-fold when you attack monsters from the front

    New Items

    You will find details about circlets, noctenium infusions and new jewelry in this preview.

    • Items that could be equipped in the previous head position are now declared costume items, and can be worn as adornments.

    Guilds

    • The member list now shows when a guild member was last online again.
    • New emergency missions to defeat Anansha, Frygaras and Sabranak added. Time limit set to 2 hours.
    • When available, these missions are shown in the list regardless of the filtering.
    • A message is sent when one of the three opponents appears.
    • The monster is only available on Channel 1.
    • Every guild can accept the quest and participate in it.
    • The enemy disappears again after 2 hours. A message is also sent when this happens.

    User Interface

    • Added new window for refining noctenium infusions
    • A banner regarding the revision of the Warrior is shown at character selection.

    Regional Changes

    • Content in the Balderian Bivalve Token has been removed.
    • Focused Diadem added as potential loot into Banyaka’s Rootlocked Treasure.
