Balbatos has escaped the Broken Prison, but instead of attacking the world of TERA directly, he’s using his nefarious magic to summon portals all over the world! Using these, he summons argons of various forms and strength to get his revenge upon the adventurers that tried to get the device.
Sunday, February 5th: Starting at 8:00 on TERA’s fourth F2P Anniversary and lasting all day long, you can find argons all over the world! Hit them and get numerous rewards to strengthen your character and gear.
Between 08:00 and 23:59 on Sunday, 5th February, find small and big argons roaming through all the regions of the world:
Each hit against these critters awards you with an item!
Fight against one of the three distinct argon bosses each hour – they spawn only in a specific region, and have to be defeated to get your reward:

Akalath Fighter:
- Spawns in one of the green zones
- Spawns at 8, 11, 14, 17, 22

Meldita:
- Spawns in one of the blue zones
- Spawns at 9, 12, 15, 18, 23

Shandra Manaya:
- Spawns in one of the red zones
- Spawns at 10, 13, 16, 21
Every player participating in the fight will get a reward via Mail once the boss is dead. The boss only stays for 1 hour, after which it despawns.
Prepare yourself for total chaos starting 19:00 on Sunday evening – Balbatos has enough of your interference, and start summoning orange portals on the Island of Dawn! From these portals appear Vergos’ spawn, which will try to annihilate you with all their might!
- 19:00 – Ignidrax appears
- 19:15 – Terradrax appears
- 19:30 – Umbradrax appears
- 19:45 – Aquadrax appears
Every player participating in the fight will get a reward via Mail once the boss is dead. The bosses only stay for 1 hour, after which they despawns.
The ultimative challenge will arise at 20:00 CET on Sunday – Enraged that his minions haven’t yet killed you, Vergos himself comes through a portal on the Island of Dawn, and will give his all to defeat you!

Let’s Go Hunting – The Monster FAQ
In which area/channel can I find the enemies?
Bosses: They will appear in a random zone and channel within the areas marked/mentioned above. They will remain in the area for up to one hour.
Critters: Several small opponents are summoned simultaneously in all the marked zones and available channels. If one of them is killed, he will reappear at a different location.
I’ve found a target. What now?
Bosses: Once you've tracked down a boss, it's advisable to contact your guild or inform other players via the global chat. They can withstand several million blows, making it too tough for a single hero to crack before the time runs out and it disappears.
Critters: If you find one of the small monsters, there's no need to dither as these are easy enough to defeat yourself. It doesn't matter whether you’re level 11 or 65. After one or two hits, they'll be automatically defeated.
Will there be rewards?
Bosses: The bosses will be summoned automatically. Once you’ve killed one, all players involved will receive a reward via Parcel Post. You'll find further details below.
Critters: The monsters will similarly appear automatically. Each blow against them will give you a chance to pick up an item.
Is there anything else I need to know?
The critters can be attacked by players of any level.
The bosses are for level 65 players, and deal massive amounts of damage. Please be sure to use a crystalbind upon partaking, as dying on these will potentially break crystals in your equipment.
Additional notes
In order to be eligible for the loot via mail, please ensure that:
- You are in the same channel as the boss
- You have attacked the boss
- You are close enough to see/interact with the boss
- You have attacked the boss again after dying / teleporting to the boss again
