Hello everyone,
A few weeks ago, after the introduction of the new flying dragons in the shop, we confirmed that the Mighty dragons will permanently be available in-game as well. Today we can announce that after our maintenance tomorrow, those Mighty Dragons will be obtainable by earning Dragonwing Scales! In order to help you earn your dragon we have compiled a small guide for you below.
How to get a Mighty dragon in-game?
1. You can obtain Dragonwing Scales in-game through different actions:
- by clearing Vanguard daily quests (details below)
- as a bonus group drop in Harrowhold (details below)
2. After collecting 50x Dragonwing Scales, right click on it and exchange it for one ‘Petrified Dragon Egg’. You can open the egg and have the chance to get either:
- A Mighty Fire or Armored Dragon
- A Dragonwing Talon
3. You can collect 8 Dragonwing Talons and convert it into a Mysterious Dragon Egg. This egg gives you the chance to get either:
- A Mighty Fire or Armored Dragon
- Two Dragonwing Talons

Where to get scales?
Vanguard Initiative quest rewards for the following instances:
- Shadow Sanguinary (Hard)
- Sky Cruiser Endeavor (Hard)
- Lilith’s Keep (Hard)
- Ruinous Manor (Normal/Hard)
- Corsairs' Stronghold
Harrowhold as bonus group drop*
- Stage 1: 5 scales
- Stage 2: 5 scales
- Stage 3: 7 scales
- Stage 4: 10 scales
*This change will take effect after the next reset on Thursday
NOTE: Mighty dragons - Speed: 290, Flying duration: 694, effect: 1% MP and HP every second, and provides the passive skill Ruler of Dragons.
