Patch Notes 45.03 – Tricks & Treachery

  • Hardly a month ago we introduced the new ninja class and opened the doors on five dungeons. Now the next patch is in the starting blocks, bringing with it, on Thursday, 7th of July, one new battleground, more dungeons, further class balancing changes and more!

    Dungeon Changes


    New Dungeons


    The following dungeons are now available for the first time or are making a reappearance:


    • Manglemire

      • Can be entered twice per day (four times for club members)
      • Added to Challenger League (even-numbered season)


    • Dungeon of Challenge: Golden Labyrinth

      • Can be entered twice per day (twice for club members)


    • Dungeon of Challenge: Akasha's Hideout

      • Can be entered twice per day (twice for club members)


    • Dreadspire (1–15)

      • Can be entered once per day (twice for club members)


    • Dreadspire (16–22)

      • No entry limits; requires one entrance ticket per group member
      • Increased enemies' defence
      • Changed clown in 22nd challenge such that Bull Rush no longer pushes him back


    Dungeon Changes


    • Kalivan's Dreadnaught (Hard)

      • Reduced damage and attack speed of 3rd boss's charge attack by 30%
      • Added jewellery to possible loot
      • Added Slaughter weapon chest and shoes as possible loot


    • Shadow Sanguinary (Hard)

      • Delayed moment when Dakuryon becomes enraged from 20% to 15% HP
      • Skills linked to enraged mode similarly moved from 20% to 15% HP


    • Forsaken Island

      • Added Slaughter armor chest and gloves as possible loot
      • Halved damage from various boss skills
      • Halved duration of various debuffs


    • Demokron Factory

      • Increased cooldowns of Vera's skills
      • Halved damaged from Prima's flame pillars
      • Vera and Prima now appear slightly further apart from one another
      • Halved damage from Odon's debuffs and reduced HP of small crabs summoned
      • Halved damage of various skills from the final boss
      • Removed debuff which occurred when no player was standing in front of the boss
      • Changed matching to allow 4 to 5 damage dealers and 1 to 2 healers in the group (previously fixed at 5 damage dealers and 1 healer)


    • Demokron Factory (Hard)

      • Changed matching to allow 4 to 5 damage dealers and 1 to 2 healers in the group (previously fixed at 5 damage dealers and 1 healer)


    • Celestial Arena

      • Adjusted composition and pattern of monsters in various rounds so that they are not repeated
      • Reworked various effects


    • Changes to multiple dungeons

      • Neophyte Resuscitation can be used 15 times in easy and normal level 65 dungeons
      • Neophyte Resuscitation can be used once in the Challenge Dungeons


    Quest Changes


    • Changed gold rewards in missions, dungeons and daily quests in level areas
    • Removed daily quests relating to Timescape
    • Added new daily quests for Demokron Factory
    • Added new mission quest for the Celestial Arena


    Item Changes


    • Changed Slaughter and Imperator gear stats
    • Changed Starfall and Conflate gear stats to match equipment item hierarchy (passive stats)
    • Increased enchantment success chance with same item
    • Added level 22–60 equipment items to Bellicarium Credits shop
    • Flying mounts can now be used to fly in more areas:

    • Counter

      • Third combo whirlwind punch changed such that enemy players are no longer pulled forwards


    • Growing Fury

      • Reduced power boost from 50 to 30
      • Reduced Crit Factor boost from 50 to 30
      • Now provides buff which increases aggro generation by 10%


    Priest


    • Backstep

      • Reduced cooldown by 1 second
      • Slightly increased invincible frame duration
      • Added Glyph of Energy: reduces cooldown by 10%


    Mystic


    • Slightly reduced damage against bosses
    • Increased HP in solo dungeons – about 30% higher than standard HP
    • Teleport Jaunt

      • Reduced cooldown by 1 second
      • Slightly increased invincible frame duration


    Berserker


    • Bloodlust

      • Damage now increases when attacking monsters by 10% each time


    • Thunder Strike

      • Increased damage by 20%
      • Reduced damage to other players by 30%


    Sorcerer


    • Fireblast

      • Reduced MP costs from 1000 to 800
      • Changed Glyph of Carving: now doubles the probability of crits when attacking monsters


    • Void Pulse

      • Reduced MP costs from 1000 to 600
      • Added Noctenium Infusion effect: increases skill attack power
      • Added Carving Void Pulse: increases probability of crits when attacking monsters by 20%
      • Removed Glyph of Brilliance: characters who previously had this glyph automatically receive the new one
      • Changed Glyph of Carving: now doubles the probability of crits when attacking monsters


    • Nova

      • Reduced MP costs from 950 to 750


    • Hail Storm

      • Reduced MP costs from 1200 to 1000
      • Increased damage to monsters by 15%


    Archer


    • New passive skill: Crack Shot

      • Increased probability of crits when attacking monsters by 15%
      • Only applies to attacks from the side or rear
      • Can be learned at level 60


    • Close Quarters

      • Reduced cooldown from 10 to 9 seconds


    Ninja


    • Combo Attack

      • Reduced damage of first six hits by 30%


    • Turning Slice

      • Reduced damage by 20%
      • Changed Noctenium Infusion consumed to 2


    • Fire Avalanche

      • Reduced damage to other players
      • First and second hits no longer knock other players down


    Warrior


    • Blade Draw

      • Increased skill damage by 10%
      • Reduced damage to other players by 10%
      • Reduced MP costs from 320 to 230
      • Added Glyph of Carving: doubles probability of crits when attacking monsters


    • Rain of Blows

      • Increased skill damage by 10%
      • Reduced damage to other players by 10%

      • Increased skill damage by 20%
      • Reduced damage to other players by 17%


    • Defensive Stance

      • Increased aggro generation by 40%


    • Infuriate

      • Assault/Defensive Stance cannot be set or changed for 3 minutes after use


    Lancer


    • Stand Fast

      • Increased effect applied when activated (Line Held) to 50 seconds
      • Effect only removed if lancer is knocked down


    • Adrenaline Rush I

      • Applies effect to player and group members within 40m for 20 seconds: increases attack speed by 15% and damage to monsters by 5%
      • Effect can be combined with buffs from priests and mystics


    • Adrenaline Rush II

      • Applies effect to player and group members within 40m for 20 seconds: increases attack speed by 20% and damage to monsters by 5%
      • Also halves cooldown of lancer's melee attacks for duration and increases lancer's aggro generation
      • Effect can be combined with buffs from priests and mystics


    Slayer


    • Heart Thrust

      • Reduced MP costs from 220 to 170


    • Eviscerate

      • Reduced MP costs from 250 to 190
      • Reduced cooldown from 10 to 9 seconds


    • Measured Slice

      • Reduced cooldown from 10 to 9 seconds


    • Exhausting Blow

      • Reduced cooldown from 90 to 60 seconds
      • Reduced effect duration from 15 to 11 seconds


    Reaper


    • Death Spiral

      • Changed Powerlinked Death Spiral: buff now also remains after using Grim Strike; increases effect of Grim Strike by 10%


    • Double Shear

      • Changed Powerlinked Double Shear: buff now also remains after using Grim Strike; increases effect of Grim Strike by 10%


    • Sundering Strike

      • Can now be used as chain skill after Death Spiral, increasing damage by 20%


    Fixes


    • Changed calendar system in game to fix potential source of errors
