Please follow these steps if you have any of the problems mentioned above. If none of these works for you, then please contact Support .
1. Unable to determine current version
In your TERA folder (where the game is installed) delete ALL files that end in ".version"
2. Unable to retrieve manifest
- Enter ‘CMD’ in the ‘Run’ interface in the Windows start menu or into the search field. This will open a small black window where you can enter the command, ipconfig /flushdns. Press enter to complete the procedure and finish by simply closing the window.
- Depending on your router you might have to disable universal plug and play (upnp) in your router settings you can change usually at 192.168.1.1 (accessible via your browser)
- “Reset” your network card. You can achieve this by disabling and enabling it in your windows device manager.

3. Unable to contact reliable source
- If you have added already TERA to your trusted programs add also Gameforge Live folder to do not scan this folder in Anti-Virus
- Run TERA-Launcher.exe as admin direct from C:\Program Files (x86)\GameforgeLive\Games\GBR_eng\TERA folder.
