Fate of Arun: New zones

  • Your adventures in Northern Arun will take you through four new regions, with thick jungles, hot springs, a forgotten city and snow-covered peaks all waiting to be explored!


    The journey begins with an airship which flies you over to the new continent, giving you a great opportunity to kick back on deck and enjoy the vistas over the new world.


  • The first of the four regions which you set foot on (hoof? paw?) is Savage Reach in the south.
    Encircled by thick jungles, during your first steps into this unknown continent you meet warriors who will accompany you further on your journey.




    Help to search for the missing airship, and confront the enemies and dangers lurking in the region!



    The entrance to Ravenous Gorge is situated in this zone, an instance for level 65 and above which we will be previewing for you this coming weekend.

    Savage Reach





  • By level 61 you should have arrived in Spring Valley to the north of the jungle, where an exotic environment awaits.



    Your mission takes you to the hot springs in the west. You need to give the Archdevan troops there a severe beating, discover some amazing creatures, and learn from the native Khiria about the herbs growing in the region and what they can do.



    The entrance to the Sabex Armory can be found in this zone, an instance for level 61 and above which we previewed in a previous episode.

    Spring Valley

  • After crossing Spring Valley, you eventually arrive at Highwatch, the long forgotten city of the Baraka. They will gladly receive you in their eternal wisdom, and it is more than likely that they will want to make use of you and your skills.



    Highwatch is an ancient city where the Baraka preserve their fount of knowledge.
    Now it is up to you to decipher the enigmatic secrets and discover the link between the new continent and the old world.

  • The story of the Baraka and the Archdevas continues in Ex Prima, a land of ruins. In the meantime you should have reached at least level 63.
    The deeper you venture into the Archdevan seat of power, the more dangerous your quests, the more perilous your adventures.



    Fight your way through Verdantfire Rift to free the imperiled researchers, and investigate Diranas Quarry to reveal its hidden secrets!



    This zone features the entrance to Bathysmal Rise, an instance for level 65 and above which we will preview next week.

    Ex Prima




  • The journey on takes you along ever steeper paths to the very northernmost of the four regions, Arx Umbra. It is here that the conflict with the Archdevas comes to a head, increasing your experience to such an extent that you should reach level 65.



    Infiltrate the core of the Archdevan ranks in an airship, venture into their fortress and foil their hideous plans!



    This zone hosts the entrance to the Macellarius Catacombs, an instance for level 64 and above, which we previewed in a previous post.
