In this series we are going to be presenting you with the classes in TERA. There are eight different classes available altogether and you must choose which one you would like to discover Arborea as. This introduction will give you all you need to know about this class’ skills, the weapons and armour they favour, as well which abilities they can put into action.
The first class we will look at is the mighty Sorcerer.
Sorcerers employ mystical discs in order to channel the purest of magic and to be able to apply it in their day-to-day responsibilities. To be able to successfully deploy their magic on the battlefield, Sorcerers must first have studied arcane magic and how to harness the full power of their own minds for many years. Once these hurdles have been surmounted a great range of powerful attack techniques such as fire, ice magic, and other types of arcane powers are at your disposal which can be unleashed against unwitting enemies.
Although fireballs can unleash a devastating inferno on a single enemy, the sorcerer’s Ice Needle strikes all opponents in its path and slows them down considerably. But that represents only a small part of a sorcerer’s capabilities. Sorcerers can also use Arcane Pulse, in doing so this magically-trained class can summon arcane forces through deep concentration and then channel them for their own ends. While the fireball may move slowly across the battlefield, the path of destruction it leaves behind can have devastating effects on anyone foolish enough to be an enemy of a sorcerer.
Since sorcerers are dressed in nothing but fabrics they are not ideally suited to close-combat. Therefore it’s essential that sorcerers maintain a certain distance between themselves and their intended targets. So that they can manage this even in the heat of the moment, sorcerers have access to special magic spells which transport them backwards at the drop of a hat. This means they can remain at an optimum distance from their enemies and their attacks can have their full effect.
Sorcerers attacking from a distance are extremely dangerous and can reign victorious over individual opponents, as well as large groups of adversaries, in a very short period of time.
