Achievements everywhere
Today we want to introduce in more depth the achievement system of TERA. Obtaining an achievement is something that everyone enjoys, and in TERA, you’ll be awarded with achievements for accomplishing many different things.
Achievement Unlocked
Whether it’s downing a particularly steely adversary, reaching a pivotal moment in the story, or lining your purse with an unimaginable amount of gold, there’s always an achievement in TERA to ensure you retain bragging rights. As an added bonus, your new achievement will grant you a title that you can proudly display next to your character’s name. This way you’ll not only have a recap of your journeys, but you’ll also be able to show your recent successes, and failures, to other players in the world of TERA.
While achievements in TERA are always sure to raise a smile, no matter what grueling task was undertaken, some will certainly give players more reason to smile than others. For example, the “Prime” achievement rewards players who become the best of the best in their class. Be the first to reach level 30 and you’ll be rewarded for your dedication, allowing other players to recognize you as one of the most skillful and dedicated players in the world. Others, however, don’t carry such honour. Be unfortunate enough to die 10 times, and salt will be added to the wound in the form of the “A Little Ten-der” achievement. Flaunt this particular achievement at your own risk.
Achievements in the game are divided into 5 categories (General, Quests, PvP, Social & Community) with several sub-categories (e.g. “General” has Level, Hunting, Adventure, Equipment, & Misc.) Here’s a sneak peak at a few more of the achievements you can expect to see when TERA arrives later this year.
