Contest: Still wanna be a pirate? Dress like one!

    Ahoy!


    If hunting the pirates in the Cuttthroat Harbour for eye-patches and hats wasn’t enough, you have another chance to get a Pirate Outfit!


    How? Well, you just need to be a pirate yourself! Send us your picture dressed as a pirate in an email with the subject “Pirates Event” including the name of the character you want the prize for and server.


    The contest will take place from Tuesday, 9th of July 2013 until Tuesday, 16th of July 2013.


    Take into consideration that you can only submit one picture, and you should be alone in it (don’t compromise other’s privacy!).


    Once we’ve received all the submissions, the TERA Team will preselect 10 from each community (extra points for creativity!) and make a poll on the boards so that other players can chose their favorite ones. Those 10 preselected from each community (EN/DE/FR) will find its place on a special album on our Facebook Pages!


    The 3 most voted of each community will receive a permanent version of the Pirate Costume!

    A quick additional note about this contest:


    There have been quite a few entries already, a few of them being ingame screenshots. We'd like to clarify that this is supposed to be a real life cosplay, where you can win a pirate costume for your character.


    Screenshots taken of your character will not be eligible, and only "real life" pictures will be considered.

    I can't find pirate costume for adult in Singapore, most shops i checked today sell for kids >.<

    You can easily draw some nice pirate stuff on your face, wear a bandana and take a picture, nobody is forcing you to cosplay. This community is getting worse everyday. Why do I have to waste my time for reading stupid comments from stupid people. Art contest - QQ REWARDS, this contest - QQ COSPLAY. You guys are bunch of spoiled brats who wants to get everything for free.
    BTW I know many people already had fun dressing up as a pirate and I bet people send some pics already so yeah, no need to say "oh nobody is going to enter this contest, this is so stupid!" like in the art contest.

    Might want a little reading comprehension there yourself. Nowhere did it say 'head to toe'. From what I've seen of this kind of thing in the past it's all down to how much effort people want to put in to their outfit.

    No, they didn't ask me to dress as a pirate, bruh.

    more or less they just said cosplay xD
    and since its meant to be a photo you can just choose your self how much you show. if its a photo only showin your face n shoulders coz youre wearing a pirate hat and an eyepatch why not =p
    you can also get half body pics or full body shown =p
    thats all up to you so yeah so much flame for no reason xD
