    I'm happy about 20v20 being equalized, bg is an example of people going there without any good gear and get 1-2 shot and ruins your experience. I have full +12 set and I can understand people want gear matter but I mean 1 battle ground being equalized doesn't matter so much, will be fun see fail with equalized. And there is still normal bg and 3v3 arena where gear actually matters. As Ayrshi mentioned people are crying about everything, there is no way of pleasing everyone.


    One thing I can't understand I mean okay you got good gear and all and you want it to matter, however how fun is it
    if it was that gear mattered, specially when people with ilvl 146-155 can queue up and get 2 shot.
    It would kill the 20v20 purpose and mechanism that is in there, it would be just a big zerg fiest the one with most full+12 would win, by just finishing off people without even using any tactic, like bg.
    I haven't played 20v20 it is simply what I think, I respect people thinking otherwise.
    and for lvl 30 people and upwards joining without ''masterglyphs'', there is much things they can do as guarding spawns etc, ladders.

    July 2 = 20v20 + all class balance patch + mystic new thrall, not sure about critical healing, some nerf to dungeons, some changes to island of dawn for quicker leveling


    August = Alliance/Federation


    Gameforge, good job on releasing the news faster but later be brave and give exact dates rather stating summer :). looking forward for the patches.

    I am shocked at how early we got the news! Isn't EU tera supposed to be last in line as always? xD


    Jokes aside, I am pleasantly surprised. Seems like great content to be honest. But it's hard to tell until I've tried it myself.
    Equalized battlegrounds is a great idea in general, And i love the idea that lower levels can join. Although they will most likely be completely slaughtered since they simply don't have the skill yet. I mean really, did you know your class inside and out when you were lvl 30?


    A response to previous posts about current gear being rendered useless. That's not even a little true and you know that as well. The gear you've worked hard for is still very useful in every other pvp aspect of tera. And I am sure it will do you good to compete at an equal level for once. That or simply don't participate.

    In this 20v20 equalized bg, I think this will be fun.. even if you are qeueing alone or raiding with your friends with TS.
    In this bg, there are more things to do than swimming or running around the map, or waiting for losers buff endlessly when faced againts premades.


    This will help new players atleast enjoy BG without having to face a 15 premade full +12 geared players who just oneshots everyone that have lower pvp sets. I do not agree on people complaining about this equalized BG since they do not take away 3v3 or fraywind, people with full +12 gear can just join 3v3 or do there usual "newbie farming" as what most people with full gear do anyway.


    Meanwhile, new level 60 and those new or old players that are bored from questing and wants to do something new from time to time can join the 20v20. This dungeon will help ease the boredom from questing but do not give much experience to level up fast so I think only stupid people will spam this. And if the rewards are bellicarium, then new level 60 players can acquire gears faster and without much crying.




    I just hope the bots of fraywind wll not enter 20v20... (I think 20v20 is more time consuming so lets just hope bots will realize that)

    I still want to emphasize that this will help new tera players, because sadly, I love the game but I think the player base is beginning to go downward... I hope I´m wrong.. dead server equals a dead game for everyone.. (so stop bashing new players and help them to enjoy the game!!!)

    not really into these siege tank things, lacks real combat. From what I have seen in the videos, its pretty much same as the WoW battleground which I hated most of all battlegrounds. I'm not really into destroying doors with siege tanks lol. I wish they would just release some kind of capture the flag bg or something like that.

    I would still welcome a 30-59 and 60 brackets BG for 20v20, but i guess i have to high expectations for a small game like Tera...

    Will be decided by the points per time and xp per time ratio. It's all about economics...

    Yes, you get Bellicarium credits for your fight in the Corsairs' Lair, as well as experience points and gold (level 30-59 players can level while doing PvP).     One thing you guys should consider. Reward boxes,/XP gains/gold will bring more boting in the game.


    We already see this in fraywind, with people semi-afk in spawn(they move or auto attack every few seconds as to not get auto kicked/they queue in pairs so kicking is futile).


    If only equalized bgs are introduced, i can see half or even all the games, having a few afk bots inside. This will be gamebreaking for the legitimate players.


    The chances for this are really high, cause getting to lvl 30 is just a few hours. Unlike now, with the fraywind canyon (lvl60 req. to enter) people will be able to do this really easy and without having to lvl all the way to 60.


    Please ensure either supervision of matches(mentor/coaches or smth) or separate lvl 30-59 from 60s matches or fix the kicking system.


    I am sure chinese gold farmers and the like will find ways past anything you put in their way, but at least make it so that we can at least get rid of them, during the match.

    Don't sacrifice "equalized" just because you can't handle botters in game. Use report button or record their botting, don't be lazy ass.

    As for the botters, I am aware not all are chinese, but the chinese do it professionally (see diablo3/wow).

    If you talk about ingame it is correct. But the support homepage works fine and they do ban people.
    Just no one really reports them or reports incorrectly etc.


    Never tried it with afkers in BGs though. But from experience one person afk doesn't mean an automatically loss. A bunch of active idiots is much more worse than one or two people afk.


    Don't take away a feature that encourages people to do BGs just because SOME are abusing it.


    Farmers have way better methods of farming gold than afking 10-20min in a BG and get one box once an hour with a great reward of most likely 1 hasty campfire.
    Afking in a BG is not worth it for professional farmer therefore only private persons are doing it. And bots are not that widespread in Tera, compared to other games. And again there are better ways to farm gold than that.

    GRat: So what you want? No rewarding? I don't think so. Cheaters should be punished, but for me the game without motivation is bigger evil then possibility to meet cheater in game few times.

    I believe the best way would to have mods online, but since that's probably too much to ask for, an alternative would be an improved vote kick function.

    Could you still try to get the idea to the developers that a splitt into Bracket 30-59 and 60-60 would be an intresting option in the future? Where the 60s could nuke away in their shiny Visionmakers?


    Oh and while we are at it. Try to tell them we need a goldsink! Economy is going full speed into the worst economic inflation of the mmo history ;)

    If they added something like that, this would only mean that the new players would be screwed, anyways that is completely offtopic as well. ALSO i for one am fine with equalized and 30-60 bg, and im sure plenty of others are too, so please, don't try to do that.
