Event: T, E, R, A – These are the letters you’re looking for!

    3 hours / 1 box.


    Openend it to get a fancy firework, gave up shortly after.

    This event is a huge dissapointment. I went searching for the treasure chests straight for more than 3h. I went into many different areas, changed channels. Didn't found a SINGLE one. A lot of people, who did got them also said there's a huge propability you'll simply get a firework and nothing else. This is simply some kind of a cruel joke, especially when we know how much this event could help the economy right now.

    It would seriously surprise me if there are more then 10 people with the mount on EU servers at the end of the event.
    please increase the spawn/drops rates... I would much rather find the same 4 letters in a few hours and trade them with others then spend an eternity to write ZDX! (or something idiotic like that) with fireworks.


    I spend 2 hours leveling and 1 hour searching and found exactly 1 box... wich gave me an ''!'' firework.


    I went online with the tought ''hey lets try get a nice mount'' only to go offline after 3 hours highly dissapointed with this sick joke they call ''anniversary event''


    well atleast I can show my anger ingame with a big fiery ''!'' (woohoo)

    after all I have heard about the Anniversary boxes is that if you go try look for them you can find about 2 every hour (this is a good avarage i think)


    If every box gives 1 item (correct me if its possible for more to drop) and there are about 40 different items that drop (alpabet+things like !/?, T E R A letters and the usables). this gives you a 2.5% chance to find a specific letter. also the chance will get worse when you have 1 or 2 letters because double one are useless i guess unless you manage to trade them.


    anyways this would mean that if you find 40 boxes you can get TERA spelled (luck/bad luck not included) this would take you for a 20 hour search...
    and I think even this is pretty optimistic

    whats worse, letters are untradeable. already we have people with 2xA ..

    I hope they extend the event for the other players that cant play yet... o. o

    Worst event ever! The spawn of the boxes is ridiculous low and then you still have a chance to get one of these 30+ useless letter fireworks. Other companys atleast know how to run a anniversary event, but gameforge failed again. All you do is promising things, but you do a shit for the community except sucking their money with overpriced ig items.

    Sadly true.. I play on-line games like what? 10 years now? Several MMO and similar..
    This one is the most beautiful and despite some annoying features really fun but that's pretty much it..


    And during those times I've seen many great events some weaker ones.. but never.. EVER anything even similar to TERA events.. which are TOTAL waist of time and huge disappointment (till now I saw like what 2..? snow leopard.. wonder how many ppl got them). It's better not to create event if they're supposed to look like that. That only annoy people and gives You pretty bad advertisement..


    I've spent 4 hours looking for boxes. In the night an hour when there're less ppl and hour in the morning (also less ppl), mainly on less crowded maps only to find NOTHING. My fiends similar.. And only one person out of 5 got 3 boxes. Rest got nothing. GJ! Anniversary event wohoo! >.<

    Players definition of fun = run around the world and see it littered with anniversary boxes, player feels happy because it really feels like a celebration


    Gameforge definition of fun = spawn 1-2 boxes in an area that only respawn 1 hour later, have players run around the world for hours where they can end up not getting any boxes at all, players feel sad because it doesn't feels like a celebration at all


    On a more serious note, whoever that plans all this events needs to come to the forum more and read player's feedback. Event are suppose to make players want to play and stay longer, not to disappoint them and make them give up.

    This event is bad and you should feel bad. Increase the spawn rate on those boxes at least 3-5 times.

    That would be great Raven, the spawn rate of those things is in-human.


    You don't want your players to search boxes for like 4-5h without much success do you ?
    It's really annoying :/

    Tera NA's easter drop box event was bad enough, but this is even worse.


    If for some reasons need to limit the droprate, maybe a happy hour event of 10x droprate in Saturday nighttime? Since more people logon in the same hour, it will feel more like an event.


    I personally dislike those last-for-a-weekend or last-for-a-week event. They are hard to control and doesn't feel too lively.

    People telling about finding couple MES in it and other valuables... Well I guess I can fire my fireworks after I invested 7 hours searching. Okay, I got ONE letter. But the boxes keep spitting up fireworks and I already hate them. Please spawn more boxes, the chance of finding something valuable is ridiculously low anyway.
