Character Transfer Service coming up: Wednesday, 27.02.2013

dear tera-europe adm,
please reconsider that policy, i'am an arcadian player, i spent almost 2 weeks to lvl n gearing up, build rep, even join tera club, if this serv trans available, then some merch will ruin everything. pooling up zyrks n gears which not yet available at new servers, then resell or showing up for no reason. imagine i'm an arcadian must fighting other serv at frywind/BG day and night just for collecting a bit amount of bg's credit for gearing up bit by bit, please reconsider this policy, it really2 unnecessary.. please be kindly reconsider this policy.

Stop QQing. Finally they give Killian-ppl the choice to settle down on other servers which will make a huge difference and hopefully reduce nexus lags.

Thanks Gameforge, I almost gave up on you keep it rolling and TERA EU will be fine.

How can you even think of doing this to your customers?

You already f'ed up so hard with the server pools.
All the new servers are -crippled- for battlegrounds !
The highest PvP gear we can get is Fraywind, and we have to earn it all ourselves.
Any higher PvP gear is not available due to the lack of Nexus.

THIS results in older players being able to 1-shot us.
Fraya will dominate Battleground rankings for at least 3 months like this.
It is an OUTRAGEOUS situation as it is.
A lot of people are working hard for their stuff, and are not being rewarded for it.
You SHOULD have put old servers with old ones and new with new ones.
There might not have been battlegrounds up till NOW.. which is what, 3 weeks?
I don't think that's a big deal, it would've been fair then at least.

Don't even mention new players on old servers please, they have all the options to buy gear and do nexus !!!
And people boosting us in dungeons? Are you serious?
Let me tell you a story. There was a team of players trying to do Manaya's Core Normal Mode, but all the veterans from Fraya would leave.
When we finally found someone (Lancer) he'd suck so hard that we actually kicked him.

Instead that team then 4-man'ed Manaya's core, according to fraya players undergeared, as they most left cause of our iLvl.

So really? It's more like we're boosting some fraya noobs.

And now, as if that is not enough.
You go ahead, Gameforge, and let old players invade our new servers.
So that ALL our effort goes to shit.

Crucible of Flame will be dominated by server transfers.
The Auction House will be dominated by server transfers.
Guild Versus Guild and pretty much every single competitive aspect of the game will be ruined for new people.
Some people put a LOT of effort into this to be at the top on the new servers and worked hard on their own to get there.

How can you even consider doing this to your customers?
Apparently you don't have to give any shits about them at all, since the game is f2p now?

I guess it's money/profit first, player's concern later.

GameForge starting to remind me of a bad game publisher, in some way.

What? First you people cry because you want transfer. Now you cry because of transfer...
Just wait and see. I won't use this transfer, it's useless now. The queue on all the servers is almost gone.

i mean c'mon serious? just because there is Server Transfer you now believe that everyone will switch and dominate your server?
you speak like you own the new servers or something adn that no one is allowed to enter except if they have a new account, which is bs, tbh there is nothing wrong with the Server transfer, if you look at it it's pretty good.

You have only limited bag space so you are bound to take the most valuable items with you and then transfer, not to mention that you HAVE to leave your guild so unless entire guilds intend to switch servers (which i don't think they will) it's only gonna be a few ppl, and to leave everything behind and then start with a lousy 50k again is kinda stupid.

I mean the economy must be better on new servers and not as high as on old servers but if you would have somewhere near 150k i doubt anyone would leave 2/3 behind and then start over trying to get to that same amount again.

Be at least happy that you are gonna have some players with decent gear to run dungeons and bring up items on the market.

Raven, i have chars from Fraya and Killian servers, if i remove 1 of them from Killian server, does it possible to move 1 character from Fraya to Killian?

ofc it is, if you have enough character slots on the killian server you can just move one from Fraya to Killian.

most people in this thread have no clue about the server pools
there is no difference between before and after character transfer as there are server pools
you will still meet people from fraya with high end gear even though you're in arcadia

Positive :

1. Population reduse on Kilian and Ishara ( no mroe queries ) no more lagg during nexus
2. People can unite with their friends and play together.

Negative :

1. People with end game gear will crush everyone in open world pvp
2. People with end game gear will crush all in arena
3. People with end game gear will make guilds ( or transfer full guilds ) and make Guild vs Guild a joke.
4. People with end game gear will manipulate the Broker with items that are not yet on the newest servers.

inb4 we "have a 50.000g limit", yeh, u can buy diamonds and other stuff from players that are worth up to 10.000g to any npc ingame... so in practice there's no gold limit as u can transfer 50.000g and 100 diamonds(worth 1.000.000g to any npc shop ingame) for example...

@people that think "killian/fraya" players will help u with the endgame dungeons, LOL, if some of them decide to transfer to the new servers it will be only guild wide transfers or static groups that want to run endgame content without "lagnexus". So they will bring endgame gear with them and will dominate the servers and the broker for months... All existing and competing guilds in those "new" servers can forget about fun, u will be crushed by newly arrived guilds with vm+12...

IMHO they should have limited transfers to "new server"<->"any server" and "old server"<->"old server" or just to everyone who is sub lvl60 (without inventory and with gold limit) to prevent server economy meltdowns.
U should have discussed this with your player base, the current system will destroy the economy on every server(new & old), by having gold limit with no inventory limit u will cause mass Inflation as people will buy valuable items like mw alkahest/spellbind/mw scrolls/t14 gear, and they wont care if its already overpriced as theres no other way to transfer wealth with them...

In my opinion we shouldnt argue with these changes. A lot of players demanded them. Server transfer is very common service, at every single game it looks similiar to presenyted system.

Regarding to QQ players. For sure it will hurt You. Players with higher exp gear will get to Your severs. They will own economy, they will make great profit from items not accesible for You. Players who played 24/7 on new server and are ahead of other will be behind transfered players. 1-3 weeks of Your hard work will gone. If there are old players who decided to move to new server to take advantage of knowledge etc. You have to realize that You completly wasted Your time on leveling new alts. - sad story , u have to deal with it...

Hello all, im new player on this game ,tired from another MMO. so im here, and want to ask ,maybe can tell me newest server(s) where i can begin game. (i dont want start in server where , all peapole max geared and etc.).

This may not mean much, but for one, I'm happy about this. I can finally play with my friend that had to pick a different server. Also, looking on the bright side, Gameforge did what players asked them for. It was a massive request by the player base for this transfer.
There are no ideal situations and making a ton of rules who can and who cannot transfer would only complicate this and there would always be someone unhappy. Waiting a few more months for new servers to catch up would make no sense in the end as with each passing day the transfer becomes less and less important as closed down servers don't lag as much as they used to. I don't think there was any solution that would make everyone happy.
In my opinion Gameforge finally did a good job by answering the player's call for transfers and even if it's not perfect, they should be praised at least a little bit. This ever present negativity and whining is kind of annoying to be honest.

I have a questiong btw - people are not allowed to change server into Killian and Ishara but can people FROM Killian and Ishara change servers? If yes - most stupid thing ever.

Why you no block Fraya? T-T
