thats not lying, he said they wont sell it on the f2p release date, they "might" add it later. so you will go trough with that...MW alkahest and spellbind will be avaible for drops and gifts (this means that there will not be another way to buy them? shop?) you are making ppl spend more real money in 2 itens that are based in rng on top of paying a tera club fee...

I see no problem in selling it in the shop as long as it can be obtained inside the game as well. Just helps players that are to lazy to grind it but doesn't change much inside the game since everyone trying to take the highest enchant will eventually get it so it doesn't matter if you take it in on hour or 2 months. If people are willing to grind it I'm happy with that and same goes to those that buys it.

Think they announced that players can still sell the items for gold inside the game so you will still be able to get them relatively easy. And to point it out it's the hardest challenge in Tera to get the highest enchantment so why should it be easy? And why does it bother you that some people might spend money on it ? and you don't have to pay the Tera club fee at all it's a matter of choice so what's the problem here ?

The release date will be revealed. It may not be 5th February.

So it seems that Steam made a total mess-up by releasing the date too early.

They should add free gifts boxes every day to Tera Club players. These gifts boxes will have a change to give you MW Alkahests, Master Enigmatic scrolls, Semi-Enigmatic scrolls, Spell-binds, other shit to make people whine about RNG.

This way old customers who still pay won't feel so cheated when they inevitably add some of these items to the cash shop after more or less taking them out of the game (yes, don't try and sugar-coat it with 'instance drops' and 'rewards from instances', that's effectively what you did).

Fact is, making Free User pay money for this stuff is completely fine in my opinion, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who agrees with that.

Making continually paying customers also pay for them after they used to be able to play the game for them, would be a bad idea and really poor judgement.

The above suggestion would go some way to fixing this.

exactly we cant predict but i am almost sure (not 100%) that the prices for those 2 itens will be insane....
ppl with more money in game will control the market buying as much as they can now and selling it for sweet prices after thus will make ppl that dont have money ingame forced to buy it in shop (what are we talking about here? 1euro for 100 MW? 1 euro for 10 MW? you see the difference?).

I honestly still do not know if MW Alkahest and spellbind will be available from the Vanarch shops after the launch to F2P

They will not. These will only be obtainable through the cash shop and drops.

I cant believe how it is possible for them to ignore basically all their community

It is a bit scarce with info on what you have to pay to reach veteran status after F2P (or you know, close the gap in what you can do). I hope it isn't being hidden because we are talking hundreds of dollars just to unlock characters and bank slots.

Just curious but is this the update that brings the quicker leveling to 60 with 70% basic dmg and solo bams? Or are those coming after this patch.

I already asked before but my topic was moved into a "collective thread" and left unanswerd, also I cant reply in that thread so I sent a ticket to the support... also no answer. So I am asking again now since this is very important for me and my friends.

Right now we have unlimited trial and when TERA goes free to play we will be allowed to have 2 characters.
The informations I could fid in FAQ and Forum stated that we will not be able to play with any of our characters untill we delete the rest (except 2). So my question is, if we buy premium membership or better said "TERA Club" as soon as possible, will we be able to play again without any trouble, or will our accounts be deleted because they are free and contain more than 2 characters ? Also, since we probably wont be able to login with any character to buy a premium month from the cash shop (like in AION for example), will we also be able to buy things outside from the game on the website ?

Please no "I guess" or "maybe" answers. We dont want to loose our characters, so if its needed to avoid our accounts to be deleted we will remove the rest, but if its possible to keep them the way I thought then we really want to know. Thank you.

Oh, right. In case a moderator moves this again, I will keep opening new topics about this untill it is answerd. The free to play launch is getting closer and closer and compared to what questions I have read so far, this is a lot more important... Thank you very much.
