TESTED FPS Fix

    Hmm, ive already meet many ppl who uses the same processor as you and they have the same problem
    okay, do you know where to set your Flip Queue Size? set it to 1 force VSync and Triple Buffering on


    For the setting inside tera, you can choose yourself but lightning enhancement never >1 and realtime optimization stay at 0


    also try use this one at the attatchment


    ah also remember to update your flashplayer and shockwave player and make them have a space reserved for tera.

    well it dont help but i screwed my other games graphic...all blurry hm..i think i am gonna reinstal my driver because all other games are so horrible now :)

    well i figure out some fps problems with amd....


    solution is Overclock your AMD xD


    had 3.2 ghz --> oc-ed to 3.5ghz... in velika fps from 15-20 increased to 25- 35
    in bgs...fps increased from 8-15 to 20-28


    so OC is a solution...


    p.s. i tried this game on same details on my brothers pc..and he have better...phenom be x4 955 3.4ghz and radeon 5770 and he have 20 fps in velika 15 fps in bg's....so my OC-ed phenom 840 with no L3 cache plays better LOL

    I feel pretty uncomfortable since the game is still laggy even if we manage to get over 100 fps, may it be AMD with their vga drivers whic lack of a proper game support for tera or just the koreans.
    Still waiting for a proper UI FIX.

    That works because the UI is bottlenecking your CPU... so.. truly said, OC is the only choice. but i wonder, my spec was:
    Intel Core i5 3210m @2.5Ghz
    4Gb RAM 1600 Mhz
    500GB 5400RPM
    GeForce GT645M DDR3 2GB


    i can get 40~60 in Velika, 20~40 in CS


    Resolution was 1366x768 setting almost maxed.

    So I did all that in the first post and I got a noticeble 15-20 FPS increase.But with the last patch not only it went back to how it was but my textures are way worse than before aswel..

    take 32bit System and your FPS are better.
    i have at 64bit - 50 - 60 fps, laggs included
    i have at 32bit - 80 - 120fps no laggs

    do you mean that i should format my pc and using 32bit OS instead? ..what a huge price to get a better FPS.. T_T



    BTW, im curious about this game installation. can i just copy the installed TERA in my PC into my Laptop and play it directly? i mean i dont want to redownload it from the very beginning.. is it possible?

    It used to work when i last tried it (some 6 months ago), so im guessing it should work now aswell

    anyone having issues with the latest nvidia drivers? i seem to be running better on intel graphics hd than gt 630m :/

    I tested this FIX and i got no changes on my FPS! :-(


    but yesterday my game crashs and i start the game new! Then i got a second FPS display in yellow on the left top corner and my FPS was amazing:-D and today i want to play Tera again but i didnt get the second fps Display and my fps sucks again:-(


    is this yellow fps Display from this FPS FIX?


    if it is how i can get this up all the time^^?

    What FPS should I get with my specs?


    i3 530 2.9ghz (1st gen)
    nvidia gts250 1gb 256bit - Green
    4gb ram
    500gb HD


    ive tried and follow the steps but still get same fps 10-20

    My FPS got up by like 28 or 30, no kidding. Thanks a lot!

    It didn't really help to push my FPS, but somehow multitasking is now smoother. If I switch from Desktop to game and vice versa the loading times are not so long anymore.

    Ok i was really skeptical about this and to some extent i am still , so i only decided to try messing up with adviced nvidia control panel settings and results have been amazing so far, it was unplayable for me in CS , i couldnt move or fight in that battleground , but after applying nvidia control panel settings you advised i tried playing and everything went really well, i was able to move and fight , it still lagged a bit during bigger clashes like 15on15 , but at least when its 5on5 situations etc. it was pretty smooth , now im not sure if its worth applying other suggested things such as deleting config files for tera because i already have pretty much everything on lowest settings , i also didnt download the core unlocker thingy becase as far as i know it only works for quad cores or stronger and my computer has only 2,basically i tried suggested settings for nvidia control panel because i could revert those changes simply and i didnt need to download anything (im really paranoid on this), but what im asking for those who applied all the changes (or original poster) , is it worth it and didnt any of these mess up something for you?

    Ok did more of your suggestions but encountered few problems .
    First of all couldnt find this
    Open nVIDIA Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Global Settings > Use High performance nVIDIA processor , there is no such option in my global settings at all, my video card is ge force 9600gt
    Secondly didnt understand the part where i needed to replace text in my original S1engine.ini with the text from your uploaded S1engine.ini , do i delete all the text in my original file and paste text from your file or i dont need to delete anything from my s1engine and i just simply should put your s1engine text together in my original file ?
