    Thank you very much for the kind words :D We work hard on the translations and we'd just like a source, that's all! Zodiac was just trying to defend us because he knows how hard we work and I know that's all anyone else is upset about as well.

    Hi Samael, let me take some time to explain why I wrote the post. I go by the name Locien on TERA Fans and I'm part of the translation team. I wasn't involved much more than finding news worthy articles containing news from G*Star this time around, but I have done a lot of work for TF before and I'd hate to see my work getting blatantly stolen like this. I got this news firsthand from Amira who spotted it earlier today and when she told me that she couldn't post for some reason, I logged on to my account and posted it. I didn't have any ill intents, I just wanted to bring up the issue hoping that Frogster staff would apologize and rectify their mistake by giving credit to TERA Fans and refering to the source of the article.

    Firstly, if they thought that TERA Fans' translation was good enough they still wouldn't have the right to call it an official translation; that would imply that they translated it themselves, ie officially.


    Secondly, I came here to discuss the issue in question because Amira couldn't post then for some reason. This is a gross overstepping of boundaries and it shows a lack of professionalism, blatant theft doesn't look good on the paper or in the news. I wouldn't mind letting it slide though if the problem is rectified and that there is some kind of promise that it won't happen again.

    Well, Zodiac, since you've done work for Terafans and helping the community in general, i think you have every right to complain, as well as Amira and Kalsteine. You guys have been contributing to the community with your work. Unfortunately, your post was also the chance that some good-for-nothing trolls wanted, to jump on the flame train and start bashing Frogster again. That's my only complaint.


    Once again, i really hope that an explanation, as well as credits and apologies are given, and that it won't happen again. Situations like these harm TERA, so i hope this ends really soon.

    Seriously, everyone knows that you guys are doing a good job. The first site i visit every day is Terafans, because i know that if there are news about TERA, i'll find them there. The next thing i do, is giving links here to Terafans, to share the articles.


    Maybe you could set an example to a few people that have done nothing for the community besides trolling and flaming, who just come here bashing the company, without knowing why - only because it's today's trend - oh, and because it's fun to flame in the internet.


    Well, you guys gave the best answer to them when you came here, by acting cool, and not like it is the end of the world.


    I've been watching and participating in these forums since they were launched, and i've seen first hand that the mods are always acting fast on troll reports, and fixing things that need to be fixed. They also work close with the community (Alex can confirm that), by promoting our unofficial events and "sticky" them. Also, they prefer to just delete "bad" posts, than randonly banning people (like those flamers were saying that it's Frogster's ways to randomly ban people, especially those who disagree with them). Until now, only 4-5 people have been banned, and the reason was spamming or trolling.


    So, i get pissed when random people who have never visited this forum or cared about the european community, suddenly come here and start bashing the company for the first mistake they make. One of them is this peanut-brain Jalygtra, whose only contribution to this site, was to create a guild intended to make fun of my guild. Of course i reported his guild thread, and it got locked within a few hours. Maybe that's why he's so butthurt, coming here today to flame. And the rest of them are no better than him. That's why i'm pissed, and i won't stop until they are vanished from these forums.


    Oh get off your high freaking horse. Many of the people who came in here just to make this one post, like me, are active members on Terafans. It's a rise up for your nation type of thing.


    I don't give a damn if it was Frogster or ANY other company. I would do the very same thing if En Masse did this.


    Seriously, stop riding around thinking you are the best thing to happen to the internet.

    First of all, my apologies for that what happened. The Community Management team was aware of the great work of terafans.com but unfortunately the most important line of that post was missed out: to say thank you for the contribution of the origin translators terafans.com! It was not our intention to use their work and make it look like ours. Don´t worry - we had our learnings and we will be more careful with the creation of our news in future.


    To show the community how seriously this is to us - I say "congratz to terafans.com" of being the first one who have now their fix tickets in our upcoming closed beta runs! Additionally we will create a nice package of goodies for them. This is not a begging for absolution - this is evidence that we are aware of our mistake and I promise that we will take great care to avoid such cases in future.

    First of all, I apologize on behalf of the whole community team for this mistake, it is true that we should have given the credit to TERAfans for the original translation.


    The reason why we chose to publish the article as it is is because we translated it to French and German and didn't want to leave the English community "out of the loop", just because the first translation was in English as well. I am the one who told Shojin to post this interview on the English forum as well, so he should not be blamed for this mistake.


    I am also in contact with Kalsteine, the original translator of the article, and he will of course be rewarded by his work by Frogster.
