This Is Game.com conference with Bluehole studio!



    I'm not a Frogster hater at all, and since I've been closely following Tera this is the first slip up I've noticed - I'm not like the people on the Tera-online forums that are now swearing off EU servers. But a big mistake is a big mistake (if it is copied from Terafans, if not then they were seriously slow with this news anyway) - I've just graduated from Uni where missing a reference meant failing your degree. :p

    It's not just a mistake. If it was a mistake they'd just neglect to add "Thanks to TeraFans" or something, but they literally called it their official translation...

    This is your respectful opinion. I'm mad with people who just poped out of nowhere only to drop shit talk and then disappear again.

    I haven't encounter anything wrong with them... their bad reputation was created by the same people who are flaming them today. I don't think that all of TERA community had played Runes of Magic and had experienced problems with Frogster support, just a banch of kids who cried becouse their accounts were banned from a game they didn't pay for starting spaming in every forum things like "omg frogster sucks, don't play on EU servers".


    I stand by my own experience with Frogster and no what anyone else says. I haven't seen anything wrong so far from Frogster, this was the only fault they did and I'm waiting for their answer.

    Swearing off servers in EU? Do you mean they wont play on EU servers because of this? if so, good! i wouldn't want to play with a bunch of highly strung drama queens anyways... if not, i dont understand what you mean :) sorry!

    at the end of the day, what are we talking about here? let me rephrase, what is more likely here? Would they intentionally rip something from another well known site claiming to be their own (chances of being found out are 100%)? OR is it possible the guy was just trying to post some information on the forums (for our benefit) and missed a reference?


    I say good work to frogster, and just double check your news posts for references :)

    Terafans are doing a great job with their translations, and i am very satisfied by them as a site. Also, i've added many Terafans links in various topics around here, and ofc i'm always mentioning the source. So yes, Frogster made a mistake (or more probably an inexperienced CM made a mistake). And they should mention that Terafans are those that invested their time for the translation.


    But what i see here, is more than just a complaint. I see Frogster haters who are coming from other fansites, and were waiting from a wrong move, and only registered here to flame. So yeah, let's erase every good effort they've been making in supporting these forums.


    "Rebellious" kids, get back to your forums and play in the NA servers. This is a troll-free forum and you are not welcome.

    We have to admit though... competitions that offer beta keys and mistakes that attracts Frogster-haters lead to an increased amount of registered users! :p


    You can find the most people with 1-2 posts in this thread and the other one with the signature competition! I guess I shouldn't be supprised though! ^^

    Not just because of this, but there have been some comments over there (from the Frogster haters) saying they plan to play on NA servers because of stuff like this...I'm still not quite sure what they've done to deserve all the flaming, and mass flaming from the non-EU community just because of this is stupid...Tera-Europe seems to have been good up till now and 1 mistake is not the end of the world. =/

    that's great for you, but they still need to do their best trying to gain the trust of the playerbase. this is something that should never happen, no matter the excuse.

    I also want to ask the same thing that i asked in the complaint thread that Zodiac created both in this forum and tera-online.


    Did Terafans contact Frogster in order to solve their problem, before Zodiac decided to start a war against Frogster? Because a response as this, makes you seem like you were waiting for a chance to flame them, and makes you no better than them. And that makes me wonder what the real goal of all this "outrage" is...

    Oddly, I was the first to notice this this morning, by accident when I was looking for something else. I right away tried to post in the thread to tell them to properly source TERA Fans, but was met with "Your post will become visible once a moderator has approved it." I have no idea why my posts would need approval, no one else's seem to.

    That's a definite possibility, so I'm testing now to be sure!

    There is a "report post button" if you have problems again - not flaming you of course, I just know its often forgotten about...hell even I forgot about it till we were on page 2 of this thread. :p



    If they thought that Terafans' translation was good enough to become the official translation, there is nothing wrong with it. But they should still add the names of those that translated the article.


    But still, i don't get it. What's your problem? Why all of you that have 1 post or 5 posts bothered to write something in this forum now? Why didn't you come earlier to discuss about TERA and you come now, turning a dispute between Frogster and Terafans in WWIII? Are you one of the Terafans translators and staff, or Amira? Because only they have the right to complain. And if this is such a big matter, that's why laws exist and it's not our business.

    Hehe, whether I'd reported the post or not, this backlash would've happened, wouldn't it have? It was also thanksgiving morning, so I was heading out to eat.


    Regardless, people wouldn't be upset if this wasn't many hours later with no response or clarification from them. Personally, I'd just like to see credit given where it's due, that's all. I'm not giving Frogster a hard time myself.
