Dear Community.
After two years full of intensive cooperation, Gameforge and Frogster have successfully established cross-locational structures between their Berlin and Karlsruhe offices in almost all areas. This has been proven to be a very good basis for our common success! Hence, we are taking the next step of the integration of Frogster into the Gameforge Group. The Frogster Interactive Pictures AG will be renamed to “Gameforge Berlin AG” according to a decision of its shareholders at their annual meeting today. The Frogster Online Gaming GmbH, which carries out Frogster’s operations in Europe, will simultaneously be fully integrated into “Gameforge Berlin AG” through a merger. Frogster America Inc. and Frogster Pacific GmbH will be renamed to Gameforge America Inc. and Gameforge Pacific GmbH respectively.
Together with Gameforge we operate a portfolio of 19 online games and therefore are the leading publishers of MMOGs in the western market.
With that many titles and many more coming, working under one name will allow much easier communication and navigation of our products – both existing and upcoming. This will result in increased resources for the administration and further development of our systems, as well as for graphics, web, and video production; and to offer you, our valued players, even better services, be it Community Management or Customer Support!
What about you and your favorite game?
In the near future, you will notice the adaption of Gameforge logos instead of Frogster on our websites. All games will soon be additionally featured on the Gameforge portal for easier access and overview while continuing to offer a core website for each game.
And that’s it.
Your forum, website, social media channels and especially your games will stay completely the same. The teams sitting behind your game have not changed either and will continue to offer you the best possible user experience… and beyond!
The renaming process is anticipated to occur in late July or in August 2012. Until then, all company units will operate under the current corporate names.
Of course we’d be delighted to have your feedback, thoughts and opinions and discuss them with our Community Managers on our forum.
