[Guide] Nightmare Tulsa (Hard) Key-Trick

  • I don't know whether this was posted before or known before -obviously some people must have taught of this as well- but here's the trick I found today while fighting last boss of ET HM:

Hard mode of this dungeon the same fight as normal mode with lots of adds who give a debuff on you which make you go to the opposite direction than you are intending to go to.

Basically by binding opposite keys while pressing shift to movement keys, you can be -in a way- not affected by the debuff. What you have to do is when you get the debuff you have to press shift while moving.

The binds should be looking like this:

    Code
    1. Move Forward: W / Shift+S
    2. Move Back: S / Shift+W
    3. Move Left: A / Shift+D
    4. Move Right: D / Shift+A

    GL with drops peeps.

  • Well, or you could just move forward with S, back with W, left with D, and right with A during the debuff :P

Would've been a lot more nasty the debuff if it completely randomised your movement keys every application, but oh well.

  • Isn't that like cheating your way through the encounter ?
I mean why have bosses and fun mechanics all together ? lets just play in empty corridors and empty rooms full of enigmatic loot chests :p

    Erm wot?
Boss does a big nasty move. Guess its cheating to get out fo the way since the boss is odviously supposed to hurt u. If they wanted you to totally lose control of your toon they could have used that debuff instead. This si just someone giving a good tip.

It's easier to rebind then trying adapt at that moment.

Whatever works for you I guess, I've just been adapting on the fly :P

  • Or just have a good healer who cleanses you within a second ;p

  • I made this video playing with my archer in a pug and showing how easy it can be with a decent gear and can be possible to with normal gear , I am just asking you to whatch and read description, it tells the more important stuff you need to know :)
