    • Archer will be god tier for RE extrem, as they can solo the plant boss, just saying.
Give us talents as passives or at least give regions outside of Korea a proper class balance.

TERA : The Endless Recycling until Agony

    • Fun and forgiving both in pve and mass pvp. PvP wise has the role more of a support dd with decent kit for last hitting.
Mass: What Eliannah said x2 about followup in mass (during giga, ground pounder etc.)has insane utility with both ranged traps. Furthermore, the kit allows good synergy with most classes unlike ZERK SMASH (on archer stun chain) and if you use your brain you can deal decent dmg without ruining someone else's chain/combowombo or whatever. The class has good mobility and normal cds on the iframes so if you don't overextend you shouldn't get caught and feed. Thunderbolt and tenacity allow for some mad plays and no brain anti-giga (very useful since if you get caught in the Tera equivalent to "rape cage" (giga with good follow, or any other cc lock again with good follow) you get instantly deleted. Slows and traps are another level (it takes time to get the game and valks and ninjas wreck them with iframes while zerks and brawlers block destroy them), but still they are really good for trololololol and mad plays and ultimate escapes/saves. Damage wise: OW: Insane; FW: very, very sad; CS: decent; 3s: can be insane. The thing that busch said is also very true. The kda archers are mostly tresh and don't bring much value to the team. Stealing kills is easy, setting them and preventing your monkas from feeding is the true art.
Duels: they won't be your favorite thing to do since most of the classes naturally were destroying archers even before the awakening hit. After archer awakening comes things won't change in any way because the intended gameplay will be similar if not the same (we might get something similar to what warriors have now but that's not dueling and yes being able to pull bs - 8 edge - aerial scythe - blade frenzy is not exactly my definition of skill).
3s: You can change some stuff but mostly you will be fishing for a) a decent dd who can set a kill that you can finish, b) someone retarded enough to sit in roa for 5 minutes or c) 150k frontal tb on some poor soul.
Conclusion: decent class, lacks the kit to be a great class. The learning curve is steep and dynamic, there are multiple plateaus and I don't think that if one reaches the top, one can be considered a factor but who knows. On a brighter note - the class is a real kick and good for laughs and lashings of the old ultraviolence.
    • Cant talk about pvp, but archers in pve are amazing, probably one of the best classes. The fact that they can even increase range attack with glyphs in most of their skills / basic attacks (similar with some skills of the gunner) makes em really difficult to kill. Most npcs / bosses will not have the ability to hit you at 23 m, for example, while you can use the archer to keep shoting at em without worrying about being in a difficult situation. Problem is, they dont produce too much agro, so in dungeons your role will just a damage supporter, but an archer with a high crit factor will be really annoying for any boss. They also have great defensive skills, making em a really balanced class all around. Not a melee class, of course (but as i said archers have great defensive skills just in case you are surrounded), but far better than healers or a sorcerer in that regard.

im sorry, this comes 10 days late but... why- why would anyone want o waste glyph points on range increasing glyphs? You'll spend pretty much all of them to get your correct setup you wont have spares for those o.o
But yes, archer is indeed pretty good for pve as we are right now
